"And how will you do that?" Jesse looked skeptically at Eli. Jesse was a strongly built guy with large muscles but wasn't as big as Butch in size, he was leaner. He had reddish-brown hair and was wearing semi-formal clothes as he had just gotten back from working in an office. He wore a blue short-sleeved dress shirt and black dress-pants with dress shoes, as well as a ShadowTalker.
"You have any ghouls?" Eli said.
"We have a few in the storage room," Alex started to walk towards the exit before her brother held her back.
"Not so fast sis, you need permission from dad or mom to do that. They went out to eat and want us to come, why don't we bring your friends with us. Eli can borrow some of my stuff. Sound good?" Jesse let go of Alex and motioned for Eli and Trixie to follow. "We'll come back later to look at the slugs. Later Ren," he called as the doors closed behind them.
"Is his name actually Ren? The ShadowClan doesn't tell us their names." Trixie said following the Creeds down a corridor, that looked like it was from a normal office building, towards an elevator.
"Ren is short for Renegade. Like as in traitor." Jesse pushed a button on the elevator and the doors opened. The group got inside the empty car and started to rise as Alex pushed a button for the second-to-top floor.
"That would explain the lack of others. They usually move in packs, following a leader." Eli said curious as to what could be traitorous for the clansmen, they always seemed so coordinated.
"You've seen the main tribe?" Alex looked wide-eyed at Eli and Trixie. Jesse turned around and looked at them with similar eyes. "That means you come from the caverns. I've only heard stories from Ren when I was young. It's only considered a legend in the SlugWays. You'll have to tell me more, later," Alex was looking at Trixie as the doors dinged and opened.
"No going over bored, we're just going for a quick bite nothing to fancy. Okay, Alex?" Jesse said as Alex started to pull Trixie down a hall towards what Eli guessed was her bedroom.
"Ya Ya. I got this." She said closing the door. Jesse started to lead Eli into a different room.
"Let's get you ready too."
