Is he the one?

I walk into the mall while on the phone with my cousin. His name is Kian. You may have heard of him he always makes the funniest videos with his best friend Sam who right now is my current boyfriend. We have been together since who knows when.

"I'm gonna meet Sam at Starbucks. do you wanna come later?" I ask

"Na I will give you guys some couple time."

"Are you sure?"

"Yea but make sure he knows I said hi!"

"I will."

With that I hang up.

I'm not supost to meet Sam for another 2 hours but I wanted to shop for a new dress for this weekend. we are going to go on our 8 month anniversary date.

I decide to surprise him with us getting matching penny boards! I'm so exited and can't wait he's been wanting to get one for a while but I've always talked him out of it because I wanted to get it for him.

I walk into American eagle because I've been needing a new sundress.

I look around to find the cutest pink floral dress. I look up and who is that across the store no one other than my ex. Richard. great I think to myself as he walks over here.

"Hey babe we still on for tonight."

He me so much

"We broke up a year ago smart ass."

"What was that?"

"I don't know maybe turn down the ego and maybe you will be able to finally hear yourself think."

I grab the floral dress I was looking at and rushed to the dressing room.

I take a pic of it in the mirror to send to Rachael, my best friend.

Of course she texts back

"It's gorgeous. so cute ima borrow it lol luv ya gtg with Ricky bye!"

I leave the dressing room and go to the checkout counter.

My face lights up as I get a text from Kian

It reads

"Wanna go on a double date with my on Friday?"

I smile as I think of Sam

"Oooh who's the lucky girl?"

I text back as fast as possible

My thoughts were interrupted by an unfamiliar voice

"32.87"

What? I thing dumbly

"Oh yea!"

I hand him 2 twenties and am on my way

"Wait!" I hear behind me

"you forgot your change."

I turn around

"Keep it."

I say as I turn back around doing a 180

I walk to the cookie house across the pathway to get a sugar cookie. I turn to my left to find the penny store.

I walk in and it smells like rubber and guy cologne.

"Hi I'm Connor."
