Chapter 1 ~ Party with a suprise

Leon P.O.V. ~~~~~⬆️⬆️⬆️Leon⬆️⬆️⬆️~~~~~

"Wake up!" I hear my brother say. "5 more minutes" I mumbled and turn on my so my back is facing him. "Did you forget what day it is today?" He asked in a sly tone. "Friday?" "Well, yeah but it's your... birthday!" Right as I heard I instantly wake up, got off the bed and ran to the bathroom.

Omg I can't believe I forgot it's my birthday, what am I going to do, what am I going to wear, and most importantly... WHAT IF I FIND MY MATE!?! I was running around the bathroom trying to hurry, I grab my toothbrush and brush my teeth, then I take off my clothes and hop in the shower. Once I got out and wrapped a towel around me I heard a knock on the door.

"Come on birthday boy, it may be your birthday but you still have school." I hear my mother say gleefully. She knew today was the day I might find my mate and she just couldn't keep her excitement in. "Ok mom", I open the door and ran to my room and decided to put on a black t-shirt with a gray oversized coat, red boxers, blue skinny jeans, and white long socks. (Don't judge, my sense of style is bad I know)

I walk down stairs to the dining room to see my dad and brother eating some beacon and eggs, while my mom was cooking some pancakes. I walk over, pull a chair out, and sit down quietly not to disturb anyone. "Here you go honey" my mom says while putting 3 pancakes in front of me, then pouring strawberry syrup on it.

"Thanks mom" I say as I start to dig into the pancakes. "So, I hear Daniel is throwing a party and he's inviting you." My brother says while finishing up his eggs. Daniel is the alpha's son and he's my best friend so it makes sense as to why he's throwing a party and inviting me. Probably a 'surprise' party. "Well you can tell him that I'll be there!" I say while finishing my second pancake.

"Leon, don't get pregnant" my dad say playfully causing my mom to punch him in the shoulder in a 'don't embarrass him' way and my brother to snicker. "What? If my son is going to bottom I don't want him having a child for US to take care of" my dad says and I start blushing a deep crimson red. Yep, my family knows I'm gay, everyone at school does too, it's not like I tried to hide it.

"Well, I'm leaving" I say getting up and taking one last bit of my pancake and walking to the door and slipping on my chestnut UGG boots before walking out the door with my brother following behind me. "Be back at least before midnight!" I hear my mom say "Yeah yeah I will." I answer back before closing the door and walking to my brother's car.

"Here" my brother say and hands me a small little box. "What's this?" "Just something mom and dad wanted to give you, but since you left in such a hurry, they didn't have time so they told me to give it to you" I just nod in response and take the box and open it to see a triangular locket inside. "OMG I LOVE IT!" I practically yell and hug my brother. "Hey don't thank me, thank mom and dad" he says while stopping to grab the necklace and putting on me.

We reach the car and get in then start to head off to school.

15 minutes later

The ride was silent, not an awkward silence but a more... peaceful kind. We drove to the parking lot where there were lots of students just talking to each other. We park the car at the very far corner of the parking lot and right as I got out, I was bombarded by a group of girls.

You see, I was I guess you say 'popular', I wasn't a sports all-star or something like that but instead more of an artist. I love to draw, act, and most importantly... sing. So when a video of me singing got around the school I became a pop sensation. I considered myself an ok singer but apparently everyone at my school said I had the voice of an angel.

Anyways, the girls all asked for me to sit with them at lunch, an autograph, or my number. I look to my brother for help and all he does is smirk, stick his tongue out, and walks away. That jerk, I'll get him back for this.
