The Long Lost Sister

Hi I’m Kate Reeder. Well that’s what I thought. I thought I was a born kiwi from New Zealand that lived in Waipapa. I thought I was a normal child with no brothers or sisters. I thought I was half swiss since my parents are from Switzerland. Not everything changed though. I am still Kate still 18 years old and weirdly I always thought of having an older brother would be cool! You would have no idea what I am talking about would you? Well you are about to find out!

Kate Reeder:

It was the start of lunch on a Thursday afternoon which was a hot summer day. This was weird because it was winter. I just had year 12 music class. I took my sandwhich with nutella out of my lunchbox just as my good friend Lucy came up to me and said. “Oh my gosh Kate you will never believe who is out at the front of the school this moment!”

I replied curiously “Who Lucy, One Direction!”

I was overly obsessed with One Direction as everyone in Year 12 and more students at Waipapa High School knew. I had posters of them on my bedroom walls, I knew every word to every song and I have 3 DVDs including the movie of One Direction. I even had an I heart One Direction Journal for school! Just so you know for the future my favourite is Louis Tomlinson. Anyway back to Lucy and I talking.

“Well that’s close enough. It’s actually Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan” Lucy said though she could barley speak while saying it.

“Whatever Lucy nice joke” I said annoyingly

“It is true even ask Corey!” Lucy replied

“Why should I believe Corey?” I asked her

“They are out there Kate” Corey said. I stared at him wondering if I should believe him or not. Are they trying to be funny? Will the minute I step outside school will they laugh? I didn’t know what to do. So let me explain what I am like before I go any further. So my friends would say I’m weird abnormal in a good way and maybe trustful friendly and nice. See I now am quite talkful with guys at my school now, because even before I was the quiet and shy one (Well maybe not Social Studies or English). Ok I did talk with guys time to time but since I’ve started being good mates with Lucy I practically only talk to guys now. Ok that’s not true, that’s a bit over the top. I talk more with them!

Corey was an unusual one I never knew if he was being serious or not. Oh well lets hope he is. So Lucy and I walked to the front of the school and sure enough there was Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan surrounded with little juniors. I nearly died when I saw them they were even hotter in real life than on TV or in a picture. I had one question in my mind then. Why? Why had they not announced they were coming to my school, to my town and country? I felt a tap on my shoulder.

“Well let’s go up and say Hi” Lucy said with excitement

“Um well look how many people are surrounding them” I said

“You’re the biggest fan here Kate” Lucy argued

“Yeah” I didn’t know what to say

They had another guy with him who I figured was Paul who was always with the boys, ‘Hey where is Harry, Liam and Zayn’ I thought. Just then Niall said something to Louis and pointed at me. Louis looked at a piece of paper and I figured he said ‘Yes’ or ‘Yeah’ or something else and nodded.

“Did you see that? They were talking about you Kate!” Herni squealed.

“Were they?” I asked. Then Louis and Niall started walking towards us. Then they approached.
