Kacine's pov

It was finally the end of the day. I had cheerleading practice a hour after school. Which was good 'cause I get to lay back and release all of my stress into cheerleading. You know, with school and stuff.

I sat in the locker room with Samantha and a couple of other cheerleaders. They were all talking about jocks, I guess. I thought Samantha was going to jump into the conversation, but she didn't. Instead she just listened to what the other girls were saying about them, like I was.

I then decided to start up a conversation of our own. But I wanted to do it in private because I wanted to talk about Taylor, with Samantha. So I grabbed her hand and led her outside of the girls locker room to the bleachers in front of the track/football field. Once we sat down, I was going to say something, but Samantha cut me off. "Let me guess. You want to talk about your lil' cwush." Samantha said in her baby voice "lil cwush" instead of "little crush".

I rolled my eyes playfully and took a deep breath. "Yes, Samantha. I do want to talk about my crush." I admitted.

Samantha let out a small chuckle. "Okay, what is it?" She said, simply.

A smile was brought onto my face just thinking about what I had planned on telling her about Taylor. "Okay, um...I was wondering if you could help me out with her. You know, try to help me by talking to her more with confidence." I elaborated my thoughts.

She raised an eyebrow. "Oh, really?" She asked in a 'surprised' voice. She must've caught onto my confused expression because she started to give that 'are you serious?' Look. "You had a whole lot of confidence this morning in homeroom when you got up and asked her for her help with an easy math question." She smirked.

I rolled my eyes once again. "That was different because I actually needed help. Help that you wouldn't provide." I explained, truthfully.

"So, Taylor just happened to be your first choice of help, when I wouldn't?" She questioned.

Lord, this girl in unbelievable. "Okay, I guess I had some sort of confidence, but at the same time I was nervous. I really didn't know what made me to go to her first." I defended myself, truthfully.

Samantha laughed. "Oh, is that right? Maybe she was your first choice 'cause you wanted a chance to stare into her eyes and not know a damn thing of what she was saying." She accused and I gulped. Wow, I need to get away from her. She knows me to well. I thought. "Yeah, that's right. I saw you, Just sitting right there staring. And I honestly can't blame you. She does have mesmerizing light grey eyes." She concluded.

I smiled. "Yeah, she really does and-" I was cut off by Samantha, putting her hand over my mouth. I scrunched up my face in confusion. She then slowly let go of my mouth taking her hand away. "What was that for?" I asked, curiously.

Samantha leaned in towards me and whispered. "Taylor and Elya." Now I was completely confused. She then pointed behind me. I cautiously turned my head around. Oh, God help me. Taylor and her best friend Elya were walking up the bleachers. Just by looking at Taylor makes my heart skip a beat. I then noticed that they were making their way towards us. I instantly turned Samantha's way and she had an amused look on her face. "An speaking of Taylor..." She smiled at me like an idiot. She looked at me and raised an eyebrow and chuckled. "This should be good." She stated, crossing her arms.

A couple of seconds later, Taylor and Elya stood in front of us. As I looked at Taylor intently, my heart was beating against my chest so hard, I thought my chest was going to explode right then and there.
