Chapter 16- fight

Lucas' p.o.v

"Morning Sweetheart" I mumble as I roll over only to feel an empty space. "Huh? Charli were are you?" I mumbled to myself as I got out of bed.

Huh, she must of left early to go to the set. Great, the day I finally get a day off is the day Charli is busy.

I rubbed my eyes as I stumbled down the stairs.

"Morning" I said to everyone at the table as I yarn and stretch and go make a yummy hot chocolate to wake me up more.

"Hey do you know if Charli had to go in early because I thought she had a day off today?" Phil asked me as he feed Gracie her breakfast.

"I don't know." I paused. " I knew she was awake when I arrived home bur she just gave me the cold shoulder when I layed down with her."

"Oh yer she seemed upset when she left this morning" Addi said.

4 hours later

"Umm hey Charli I just wanted to know if you'd like to go on a date tonight?" I said to her voice mail.

I don't know what caused this to happen but I need to fix this some way.

About 5 minutes later I got a call back from Charli saying that she would love to.

But less than a minute later I got a call.

"Hello this is Lucas speaking.Ok I'll be there at 7. ok bye." I said into the phone.

I quickly called Charli and said that I wouldn't be able to make it for dinner.

Charli's p.o.v

I was so happy that we would finally be able to go on a date after about a month or more. But my happiness was shortly lived when I got a call not long after saying that he wouldn't be able to make it 😦.

I ended up getting a call from Dean asking if I wanted to go out with him and Archer. I didn't have anything else to do so I said yes.

6.30 pm

All three of us were ready to go out and had to leave right away as our booking was at 7pm.

I was ready to just relax and hangout worth the boys.

Once we got to the restaurant we were seated and told the waiter our orders. We heard the hostess bring people to the table next to us.

We heard hushed voice but I could easily recognise the voice of Lucas.

He was there with his secretary.

I felt like crying, so I guess I was right. He doesn't love me anymore.

I ran out if the restaurant crying and could hear footsteps running after me.

"CHARLI WAIT IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE" Lucas shouted as he ran after me.

"Charli I can explain. We are..."

I didn't let him finish.

" How can you do this to me. I mean. I knew you deserve better then me"

"Look we're going to go home tp descuss this. ok I'll tell you." everything."
