A light buzzing sound,

I forcefully try to open my eyes but,

They don't budge!

I try to move around but I can't do that either.

I feel like I'm trapped in my body,

For now, I cant do anything but listen to that annoying beeping sound.

"Shay! My baby!" I hear.

Is that, my mom?

I can hear my sister crying and my dad asking someone about what happened to me.

"She was struck by a speeding car, but because of the damage Im afraid she may have 2 fractured ribs and may also suffer from some memory loss by the large struck on her head" the man said.

I was hit by a black car, now I remember!

Im pretty sure thats it.

I need to write it down so I don't forget.

I begin trying to move my arms.

Still nothing.

I push even harder,

I can slightly feel my arm inch higher.

"Shay! She's awake!" My mom exclaims.

"How do you know?" My sister asks.

"Look at her arm" My mom replies.

I need to tell them to give me a paper and a pen.

I feel for my mouth to work,

I still cannot open my eyes,

but my hearing is as fine as ever.

"What did she say? Shay!" My mom exclaims.

"She said paper and pen!" Jenn exclaims as well.

I can hear her jostling and scrambling to look for the items.

"Shay, I have the pen and paper, what do you want me to write?" Jenn asks me.

I can feel her close to me,
