A few days into June, I had been invited to my friend Jessie's birthday party. For me and Charlie, there was a particular girl that we didn't want to turn up. And she did. And it ruined the whole party for me.
I just wanted to go home. I knew hardly anyone, and Charlie was the only person I really knew. Yet, the girl, was dragging her off, leaving me alone. I didn't like it, and I started crying. Because of the girl. Actually, let's just call her Tegan.
Just after the party had started, someone had shown Tegan a snap group that people were on, basically slagging her off. Because she's a bitch, and because she was so bitchy about my friend Sam asking who's party she was going to. Just because Alex said something truthfully on the chat about her, she then ignored me the rest of the night. That's fine. I was quite happy on the phone talking to Alex.
A couple of days later, Sam sent Tegan a video of me saying that I don't like her. When I get home, she got really bitchy about it. There's also a specific part of the conversation I can kind of remember, which 1. Absolutely made piss myself, and 2. Shows she's a snake because she doesn't support my life choices.
Tegan: You and Sam should both go out because honestly both as too faced as each other.
Me: No thanks, we're just good friends. Plus, I love Alex.
Tegan: You've seen him for one fucking day! How can you love someone that lives halfway across the fucking world?
Me: Um... I saw him for a weekend, that's two days. And technically Sweden is not halfway across the world. Also, who gives a shit that I love someone "halfway across the world"? It's my life, not yours
So, after that episode, we didn't speak for a while, and I was quite glad of that. Also, no matter how much I tried, my parents still weren't giving me an answer if Alex could stay over or not. But, he did ask me for my ring size...
Towards the end of June, I had something called exam week. Four solid days of exams, and that week, it was boiling hot. I mean thirty degrees centigrade hot. I was FaceTiming Alex every night, and on the Thursday night, I remember him telling me that if I stayed up any longer, I would soon get a headache.
I told him that I'd be fine, and that since taking medication was I was younger, I don't really get headaches that often. How wrong was I. I woke up the next morning with the worst headache possible, and so consequently had to stay off school. It was okay though. Alex had finished for summer, so it still meant I could snap him throughout the day.
A/N:
I would just like to tell you all that some parts are going to be much shorter than others. This is, most of the time, due to meeting and doing exciting things together. It also depends how good my memory is, as some things are much more significant than others. Again, if you have any questions about LDR's, feel free to dm me on Wattpad or Instagram (@aaliyahterrell). This can be anything from telling your parents, or first getting in an LDR, or first fights. Anyway, I wish you all well :) 💗
