As I continue to walk down the long, empty corridor towards my locker, I pulled my jacket sleeves over my hands. I decided to check the tie to realise that it's 8:36. Shit. The bell goes in 4 minutes. I sprint to my locker, throwing my bag in and collecting my books. I swiftly shut my locker with my foot, running off towards my first class, English. I don't understand why we need this class, it's pretty simple to learn that stuff by yourself.
-
I line up at the door, waiting for my other classmates to join. Even though I didn't have many friends...come to think of it, I don't have any... ha. My teacher still forces me to be with someone while doing an assignment. Once the teacher basically sprinted towards the door, probably cause it was 8:45, 5 minutes past the normal bell time.
-
I quickly raced up to to back, where I normally sit. I like sitting back here cause you picked on to answer a question. Which is good, knowing that I'm a complete dumbass, I would probably embarrass myself in front of the whole class.
-
I looked out of the window, bored as hell. Until someone caught my attention. A shoulder length brown haired boy walked into my classroom.
"Okay guys, this is our new-ish student in this class, Vic Fuentes. You guys probably know him though. He isn't new...he just moved class." The teacher explained. I've honestly never seen him before. But I'm not lying, he looked pretty damn good today. He was wearing black skinny jeans, a band shirt and a flannel.
Vic glanced around the class, before his eyes met mine. Then something clicked in my mind, he wasn't just looking at me, he was starting to walk over. No, no, no. Please don't come over here. I rest my head down on the table, pretending tat I'm not paying attention. The next thing I know, he's pulling out the seat to sit down. My mind was racing with ways that I could possibly embarrass myself. If I just keep quiet, I might be okay. I just hate human interaction.
"Hey, I'm Vic." He said. Tapping me lightly on the shoulder.
Well scrap that plan.
"Um...erm.. uhm.. I'm k-Kellin. Kellin Q-quinn..." curse my stuttering.
"Cool, so what classes are you taking?" He asks, his voice sounding like water on ice.
"Um...English... obviously" no shit Kellin. "Art...and music." I replied, fidgeting with my fingers. Please god make this conversation end.
"Awesome, im taking music and math." He said, chuckling a bit afterwards. God, he must be smart. I could never do maths. Never.
-
Soon after Vics and i's awkward conversation, the bell finally ringing, signalling that I had music next. Fuck. I'm still with Vic. I shot out of my seat, bursting out of the door. I didn't want to be near Vic. He.. just gives me a weird feeling. Not like a crush or anything, god I don't even know if I'm gay. Just a weird feeling. Thankfully. I got to class first. Which is also a weird thing for me. I'm basically always late. It's just that everyone crowds around my locker. I don't know why...
After the rest of my classmates got to music, we finally started the lesson. Of corse Vic would be sitting next to me. We haven't had a full on conversation yet, well, he's tried to but I turned him down. I'm not really good at this whole social interaction thing. But I do try. But fail miserably.Vics pov:
A few hours ago..."Sebastian, you fucktard!" I shouted, as Sebastian flicked me with a rubber band. Sebastian chucked and flicked the rubber band at an annoying girl, sitting in front of us. Soon after that, I felt a presence in front of me. I looked up, dreading to see who it was. When I finally got to see who it was, I was frozen in terror. Principal Mudock. I'm in deep trouble.
"Victor Fuentes, what was that you just said?" He asked, staring down on me. I felt uncomfortable under his gaze.
"I don't understand." I said, playing dumb. I knew exactly was that was about.
"Follow me." He said with a long sigh. I shot up out of my chair, following him out of the class, into the hallway.
"I heard what you said. And for that, I will have to seperate you two." He said, looking down at me again.
"It was his fault! He was the one flicking me with a fuc- um, rubber band!" I shouted, anger boiling up inside of me.
"I don't care who's fault it was, I am still going to seperate you two." He said while retrieving Sebastian from the classroom.
Once Sebastian was here, the principal explained everything that happened.
"Why does he get to stay in this class?!" I yelled, flailing my arms around. Again, Sebastian had that stupid smirk again.
"Too bad." Sebastian said is a monotone voice. I rolled my eyes, stamping my foot on the ground like a child who was having a tantrum cause they didn't get a toy.
"Well, you are they one who that in disgusting word. Therefore, I've had enough of your attitude. So I've already talked to your teacher and she agreed that you sound move classes." The principal explained, shooing Sebastian to get back into class. I stood there, eyeing the principal like I wanted to kill him. That wasn't far from the truth though, but I would never.
-
"Alright, so here's your new class." The principal said, pointing to a classroom which had far to many students in it. I reluctantly walked in and everyone stared at me. Thank god the principal notified this teacher that I was moving into this class. I looked over at the teacher with a pleading look, signalling him to get this introduction over and done with.
"Okay guys, this is our new-ish student in this class, Vic Fuentes. You guys probably know him though. He isn't new...he just moved class." The teacher said, looking at me, then back at the class. I looked over the class, until I skimmed past one boy. One boy with raven hair and ocean blue eyes. Kellin Quinn. The teacher motioned me to go sit some where. So I turned my direction towards Kellin. He glanced up at me, then quickly placed his head on the table. I tilted my head slightly, pulling out the chair next to him. I tapped him lightly on his shoulder, trying to get his attention.
"Hey, I'm Vic" I said. That was the best sentence I could come up with.
"Um...erm.. uhm.. I'm k-Kellin. Kellin q-Quinn." He stuttered, I tried my best not to laugh.
"Cool, some what classes are you taking?" I asked, looking down at him.
"Um... English...obviously." He said quickly. "Art and music."
"Awesome, I'm taking Art and maths." I replied, smiling. He still hasn't lifted up his head, so most of him speaking was muffled by his jumper. He nodded, focusing on ignoring me for the rest of the lesion.
-
After the bell just rang, I noticed that Kellin got straight up and left. What was his problem? Was he trying to ignore me? I packed up my stuff, following him out of the classroom. Once I got to music, I noticed that Kellin was sitting alone, again. So I quickly took a seat next to him, smiling. He just rolled his eyes and focused more on the music teacher.
