On the colossal St. Viridian Mountain range, sunlight shined through the gap between the mountains into the deep canyons. On the hillside beside the valley, some snow remained.

Even though it’s already the early summer, the snow has yet to melt. The cold here is exceptionally long. The roars of pokemon can occasionally be heard.

On the surface of the valley stood a magnificentranks, and a hidden village.

The world outside of the St. Viridian Mountains has been occupied 

The world outside  has been occupied by the powerful and numerous pokemons. The people living in the mountain range have not contacted the outside world for hundreds of years.

The people who live in the cities are unsure of the situation of the outside world. It’s been recorded that at the most glorious period of mankind, having thousands of Legend rank Fighters Pokemon Spiritualists and Two Guardians Rank, the humans established many empires in the vast continent, but those empires have been wiped out.

The cities and villages due to being stealthily located geographically, was well preserved from the Darkness Age. They would occasionally encounter attacks from powerful Spirit Pokemons within the St. Viridian Mountains, however, after going through numerous devastating conflicts, the cities was be rebuilt again and again.

One of the cities is called Viridian City, and it is one of the symbol of hope for humanity located in the Kanto Region.

Pokemon Spiritualist are superior beings than a normal humans because they increase their strength and gain abilities of their integrated pokemon they chosen.

Pokemon Spiritualists and Fighters have six different ranks, which are: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Black Gold,Legend and most powerful Guardian or God rank. Each rank is then divided into five levels, from 1-star to 5-star same thing in Pokemon but they only reach Legend Rank also means Legendary

A Pokemon Spiritualist is above a Fighter and a truly powerful existence. A Pokemon Spiritualist can form a soul realm within their mind. They have the ability to integrate a captured pokemon into their soul realm and then merge with the pokemon in combat. This allows them to possess matchless strength, which is far above the strength Fighters could compete with.

After merging with a Pokemon, Spiritualist can control its strength as well as gain abilities and moves according through the chosen Pokemon. Among the Pokemons,For Example the Ninetails is a Gold rank beast. This means that the highest level it can reach is Gold rank Pokemon Spiritualist. Of course, after becoming a Gold rank Pokemon Spiritualist, It can replace it with a more powerful pokemon.

It also apply to the pokemon who match superior than humans because even without humans cultivators they still live peacefully.

Pokemon Spiritualist can only integrate one pokemon spirit per person but for special individuals they are exception but their numbers are low like our protagonist in the story.
