The Black Lion Or (Y/N)?

(Shiro's PV)

It was just another day of thinking of a new plan to take down Zarkon. We all just ate dinner. I was in the lounge with Keith, Lance, Hunk, Pidge, Coran, and Allura. "It always seems that whatever we do, Zarkons one step ahead of us" Keith stated. "It's like he knows what we're going to do before we even think of it". "How is that even possible?" Lance asked grumpily. "Heck if I know!" Keith yelled. "ENOUGH! We aren't going to get anywhere is you two keep arguing!" I said. Pidge has been silent up until now. "We just need to do something that he wouldn't expect" she whispered to her self. "Great idea Pidge, but what would he "not expect"?" I questioned. "Maybe something out of character?" Coran said. "If you reach a certain bond level with your lion, it will evolve" Allura said with a uncertain look on her face. "WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY ANYTHING BEFORE?!" Lance yelled. "Because I wasn't sure, it was just a rumour I heard that had something to do with a "soul stone"...?". "Well, it does seem that the stronger the bond the stronger the lion" I said. "Then let's go strength our bond" Hunk exclaimed while walking to the door excitedly. "But what if it doesn't work and we're just wasting our time, Allura did say it was just a rumour" Keith said stopping Hunk. "We don't have any better ideas so why not give it a try?" I suggested. It was then when the alarm went off.

We raced through the halls getting out armour ready. When we arrived at the control room we saw ten Galra ships approaching. One was bigger then the rest. "How did they find us?!" Hunk said with a hint of panic in his voice. "I don't know but we need to fend them off, they're to close for me to wormhole away!" Allura stated. All the paladins ran down to the hanger and got into their lions.

We formed Voltron and took down five ships however the all the other ships shot big beams at use. We were hit be one. "Aaggghh!" We all said together. Then the other four beams it hit us. Voltron broke apart but the lions were still working. "Is everyone ok?" I asked my teammates. "Ya" Keith answered. "I'm good" Hunk said. "Alright, everyone take down one ship. I'm going for the bigger one" I said. "Right!" I heard the others respond. When I was dodging the beams when I saw a huge missile heading straight for me. It's like everything that was happening was in slow motion. A button I never used before light up. "Press the button, press it" something or someone said to me. I didn't have to to think so I pressed it. When I did, my lion flew straight toward the missile at an incredible speed. I closed my eyes and waited for the impact, it never came. I open my eyes nervously to see the missile hitting the Galra ship and exploding the whole thing. 'Did I just reflect it?'. "What was that?!" Lance said in shock. I realize that my friends had already took down the other ships. "I don't know" I said. "Let's go back to the castle".

When we got to the castle we wormholed out of there and everyone was asking what I did. "I don't know one of the buttons ,that weren't there before, light up so I pressed it". "Well you guys did a great job today so you should all get some rest" Allura suggested. We all went back to our room but I couldn't stop thinking about the voice I heard that told me to press the button.

When I finally felt like I was going to fall asleep the alarm goes off. I jump out of bed, put my armour on, and head straight to the control room... again. The other paladin come in behind me. "What's going on?!" Keith said. "We have a intruder in the castle" Coran replied. "How did they get in" Pidge asked. "I don't know but they're in the black lions hanger." Allure said. My eyes widen.

We all run down to the hanger and surround the black lions door and it slowly opens. Standing their is a girl a few inches shorter the Keith with (H/L) jet black hair. "Woah!" She jumps a little when she sees us. 'That voice, could it be the one I heard before?'. "Who are you and state your business!" Keith shouted at her. Everyone got ready to attack. "My names (Y/N) and I am the what you call the "Black lion". I don't really appreciate you pointing guns at me" she said with a cold expression.
