This is the sequel to "Not Gods, Holders"
if you haven't read it, you should go read it first!

Also, I picked FlowerRosa's suggestion for the name of the sequel so thanks Rosa!
And sorry to everyone else who suggested a name but didn't get picked!

One last thing, just like in the last book there will be decisions that you guys will get to vote on!
But those decisions won't happen until we get to the exciting and interesting stuff which I promise will happen soon!

I hope you guys enjoy and have a good day/night!

Adam's POV

I'm currently sitting on my bed thinking about that dream or whatever it was, thinking about my power, staring at the wall, and listening to the others. I can hear them debating my recent behavior. You see, I made the mistake of letting them know something was upsetting me but not telling them and acting like I'm fine isn't helping either. I hear a quiet knock at my door so I say "you can come in" and continue staring at the wall. Whoever it is walks inside and sits on my bed next to me. We just sit there quietly for a little bit, then Jess finally speaks and asks, "You do know that you can talk to us about whatever's bothering you, right?" I nod silently but I know that's not true. They wouldn't believe me. I mean, who could blame them? If someone you know comes up to you and says "I had a weird dream that we had powers but then we all died and now I have a superpower!" you're not going to believe them.

After an awkward silence Jess giggles and points at one of the pictures on the wall. "Hehe, I remember that! You actually kept that picture?" It's a picture of Red, Shelby, and I throwing water balloons at everyone else, just like in the dream. I smile and nod, suddenly remembering. I ate the last of Max's Mac & Cheese so he pranked me and that was my revenge prank that Red and Shelby wanted in on. But... that's not how it happened in the dream. This is honestly very weird for me.

I think for a second then ask Jess, "Hey Jess? If something weird happened that made you suddenly become different from everyone else and you're worried your friends won't believe you, what would you do?" She thinks for a moment before replying, "I'd just stop worrying! I'd focus on getting used to whatever made me different and then tell them. If they don't believe me, they don't believe me. Nothing to cry over!" She smiles at me and now it's my turn to think. So... get used to my power first and then tell them? I can do that! I smile and hug her, "thanks Jess!" "No problem!" She hugs back then starts to leave but I stop her. "Oh, uh, Jess!" She turns around to look at me again. "Please don't tell the others what I asked you, they'll question me about it and I don't want to add that onto my list of things to worry about..." She smiles at me, says "I won't! Promise!", then leaves.

Well, I guess I just found out what I'm doing today!
