Ky wake up. Ky. Ky. Ky wake up class is over.
A groan slid out of the young male who was sound asleep just a few moments ago. "Mhgm..I'm up. I'm up." He mumbled as he stretched, yawning loudly. He looked over at the girl beside him who was pouting at him. "All you do is sleep these days. Something wrong bub?" She asked as her fingers gently tugged on the strands of hair at the nape of his neck.
This made him smile slightly and he gently placed his hand on her wrist. "I'm okay. Just finishing up my stories. Let's go get lunch?" He asked as he slid his glasses on while rubbing his still sleepy eyes. He stood up and looked down at his hand that was now intertwined with her small hand. He gave her a small smile and kissed her forehead as they made their way to the cafeteria.
After school they made their way to a local diner for dinner. While waiting for their food the girl, Lila, asked help for her homework. He groaned then sighed and shrugged. "Fine fine. Show me." He grumbled and ran his fingers through his hair as he scanned through the homework then began teaching her. Soon after he began getting frustrated at her not understanding what he was explaining.
"I've explained this a thousand times! Why can't you get it?! Are you dumb or something?" He exclaimed exasperatedly while slamming down his pen on the table which made her jump and for the people around them to look. He glared at them when he noticed a girl making their way towards them. This made him smile and relax as the girl began talking to him. "Hey there Ky. You guys okay?" She asked in concern, a knowing smile on her lips as she looked at him.
He shrugged and looked over at his girlfriend, now slumped and looking down as she fixed her things. "Yeah yeah. Everything's good. Just finishing up." He said dismissively and placed a couple of bills on the table. He stood up and looked at his girlfriend, then mumbled quietly. "Come on. I'll take you home." He looked at the girl that approached him and smiled at her. "See ya."
He pulled on the hand break and leaned against his seat as he opened the door for her from his seat. "Well. Sorry for earlier. I..I didn't mean to. You know that right?" He said softly as he smiled at her. He looked into her eyes and the fear in them melted into what looked like affection. She nodded and placed her hands on his cheeks. "Yeah i know. You're just stressed out huh?" She said softly and pressed her forehead against his.
He nodded and mumbled. "Yeah.." He smiled at her then softly kissed her lips for a few seconds before pulling away. "Go to sleep early okay? Goodnight love you." He said to her. She nodded while smiling and mumbled softly, "love you too." she stepped out of the car and walked towards her home. He waved at her and waited till she was inside before driving off.
After driving for half an hour he stopped in front of a house then parked in the parking lot of the house next door. He then climbed over the fence from the yard where he parked his car and tapped on a window with a stick. The room was soon illuminated and filled by light and soon enough the window opened revealing the girl from the diner. He grinned and began climbing up the tree and lightly jumping into the room.
"Hey there lover boy." She said teasingly as she wrapped a thin silk robe around her body. She closed the window then sat down in front of her vanity while the young male laid down on her bed. "Hey Vi." He laughed softly as he looked over at her. "Thanks for earlier. My temper's getting the best of me. You really know what to do." He said softly as the girl sat down on the bed then slid her legs beneath his head as he laid his head on her lap.
"I've known you since we were kids. Since you, your brother, her, me, and my brother have been kids." She said softly as he played with his hair. "Yeah. That's true." He said softly and closed his eyes as her slim fingers slid through his hair and gently tugged. It felt good being with her. It was relaxing and peaceful which was why every single night he went over or called her just so that he could sleep.
"Thanks Vi. Thanks for always being here and helping me. Thank you." He said softly and looked up at her, smiling happily at her. She smiled back and squeezed his nose playfully. "You're such a dork but you're welcome. Always. I'm always here." She said softly and pressed her forehead against his. He smiled and closed his eyes before opening them again as they heard giggling and shuffling in the next room. "He's here huh?" He asked as she looked up. "Yeah." She smiled sadly.
He sat up and hugged his knees then began to cry, thankful for the music in her room that muffled his sobs. "I just don't understand why they'd do this you know? I trusted them and yet...yet...." he mumbled as Violet hugged him tight and comforted him as best she can. "I haven't even done anything to them. This temper? This stupid fucking temper was never here. Not until that day. The me before is gone. Dead. Killed by them both. I'm not that smiling gentle easily bullied kid anymore. I can't even say anything about it because he's my best friend and she's the girl I've loved since I was four Vi. Since preschool. I've loved her since preschool." He sobbed softly into her chest as he hugged her back. "I know. I know. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." She said softly as he cried into the night, the music not only muffling his tears but the grunts and moans in the room beside them.
