A few years later.
Park
He'd stop trying to bring her back, but he could never forget her. Who could? Her curly, red hair and indescribable clothes. How could anyone forget Eleanor? Eleanor.. The Eleanor whose touch was so gentle. The Eleanor who always had a clever remark. The Eleanor who was so quiet and made him worry almost every night. The Eleanor he was suppose to take to prom instead of Cat. The Eleanor he
came to love and now missed. He needed her, but she was gone.
Eleanor
She was back to missing him everyday. Park was her sun. The Park that understood her jokes. The Park that said her name as if she only belonged to him. The Park she lived for was still gone. She always wondered if he ever got her postcard because he had started to stop writing after she had sent it to him. She hated how long it had been from the last time she saw him.

"Park, Telephone," His mom called. He toke the phone from his mom into his room and sat down on his water bed. "Hey! Dude, we should do something today. Kim's out on vacation and i'm bored out of my mind." It was Cal. Although Park didn't feel much like going out it was the summer just after he graduated and he didn't want to be moping around. You'd think he would be over Eleanor by now but not a day went by when he didn't think of her. "Sure," He replied. "How about we go downtown to Drastic Plastic?" "Sounds cool, see ya in a few." Cal hung up. Park told his mom he was going to downtown and then drove over to pick up Cal. He rarely went downtown anymore except for Drastic Plastic when he had to work. It always reminded him of Eleanor because it was one of the last times that they were together there. He could never stop missing her, but he decided he at least needed to try.
Eleanor
She was to go visit her mother with her uncle Geoffrey. Richie was out of town and it was one of the rare occasions when she could see her mom and siblings. Of course she had thought about going to see Park, but he had probably already moved on with his life and she didn't want to feel more stupid than she already did just thinking about visiting him. She was in the car with her uncle when they just started getting into downtown Omaha. "Um do you think we could make a stop at Drastic Plastic, I wanted to pick something up real quick?" She asked just wanting to go back to a place she was at with Park. "Yeah, of course," her uncle turned into the small area of shops and parked right in front of Drastic Plastic. "I'll just wait here for you. Take as long as you need." He smiled. She nodded as she got out of the car. "Eleanor?" He asked just before she shut the door, "You okay?" She nodded shutting the door and walked into the store full of memories.

Cal was in the passenger seat chatting away with Park not even paying attention. "Park? Hello?" Cal asked.
"Huh, what?" he asked confused.
"I was saying how we should park on the outside of downtown cause it's probably gonna be crowded considering it's a weekend."
"Oh right, yeah sure." Park usually parked right by the store but then again he only worked during the week. As soon as they got there they headed down the street towards the shop.
Eleanor
She walked over to some of The Smiths records remembering all the songs she'd listened to on the bus with Park. The store wasn't extremely crowded but it was crowded enough to where there was a decently long line at the check out. She didn't want to take that long with her uncle waiting for her and everything so she just picked a random album by them and stood waiting in line. "Love will never tare us apart" started playing all around the store and Eleanor quietly hummed along.
Park
It didn't take Cal and Park long until they neared Drastic Plastic. Before they even walked in, in the window something barley caught Park's eye. It was something that was reflecting light in his eye. He looked through the window and he almost didn't believe it when he saw that the light was shinning off of a necklace. A silver pansy a girl was wearing and covering it was the same bright, red hair from a couple years ago.. Jesus. Eleanor looked up from waiting in line and her face looked so in shock like she was about to cry. Her face quickly changed into a clever grin and she mouthed to him the same three words she put on the only postcard she ever sent him. That smile always broke something inside of him and he couldn't help but smile back before walking in with Cal just waiting outside.
Eleanor
She turned around and told herself not to look back. He could never miss her the way she missed him. God, why did she do that? She felt like she was about to cry when she heard the store door open. "Eleanor.." She loved the way he said her name. "Come here," he said. "I want to show you something."
