I walk into my dorm after my lessons with Sena. I'm tired from the work I had to do, just the run over here. And I only have a few minutes to drop off my stuff before classes.
I put my bag on my desk and look out the window before leaving. I see a girl skipping down the stone path. She did a cartwheel, and another, she's cartwheeling down the path! "Hey!" I call from the window, she stops. "Impressive!"
"Thank you!" she calls back with a smile.
"I'm Kalani Polu!"
"Hikari Yawarakai! Nice to meet you!"
"Nice to meet you too!" I lose the window and head over to class. She was nice, hope I see her again!
"Done!" I cried once I finished writing all my signatures.
"Great!" said Kibo "Now we can finally get a break!" I smile and grab my water bottle as Kibo starts tinkering with another machine of hers.
"Hey Kibo," I say "Do you know any idols that are known to skip or do cart wheels?"
"Hm ... got any better descriptions?"
"Well, she had pale blonde hair in a ponytail!" I say "OH! And she said her name was Hikari Yawarakai!"
"Hold on a minute," Kibo puts her machine aside and starts typing rapidly on the computer. "Nope, can't find anything on a Hikari Yawarakai. She must be a new idol,"
"Yeah, must be,"
"Well, I'll keep an eye out for her if you like,"
"Thanks,"
After a few hours, Kibo and I were done with our last class and we were walking back to our dorms. "Hey it's her!" I gasp, pointing out the window "It's Hikari!"
"Oh great, another noob,"
We gasped!
"Oh ... it's just you," I say "Hey, Hana,"
"Don't 'Hey Hana' me!" she snaps
"So ... you know her?" Kibo asks
"Yeah, it's job to know all the new idols so I know who to stay away from,"
"HEY!"
"Yeah, she's weird," Hana continues, ignoring me "She has this weird obsession over sweets like you won't believe. If you don't believe me, go meet her for yourself,"
We looked at Hana then at Hikari, then we went to go meet her.
"Hey Hikari!" I say once we're outside "Remember me?"
"Yeah! You're Kalani!" she replies "I remember you from the window! I also saw your Pon-Pon Crepe Girl Audition! KAWAII!!!!"
"Thank you!" I look at the small hole Hikari has dug, next to it is a small bag of candy "What are you doing?"
"Trying to grow a candy tree," she says "There are stories about how if you bathe it in rainbows, water it with pink lemonade, then wait three days it will start growing,"
"Rainbows?" Kibo mutters under breath
"The problem is I don't know where to get rainbows,"
"Well ... Kibo here is an inventor so maybe she could ... whip something up or you," I say
"What?"
"Oh! Could you? Will you?" Hikari asks
"I ... I ... I'll see what I can do," Kibo sighs
"Yay!" Hikari sweeps Kibo into a hug and squeezes her tightly.
"Can't ... breath,"
"Oh, sorry,"
After going to the lab (and waiting for an hour in a half) Kibo finally made a machine that made rainbows. We went outside and placed it where Hikari had buried her candy. "Thank you two so much!" she said "Here!" Hikari reached into her pocket and took out two tickets. "These are for my debut show. It would mean a lot if you came!"
"We wouldn't miss it!"
"Hana!" I called as we were looking for our seats "Hey! You came too? I thought you didn't want to be messing with the noob circles or something like that,"
"Well I might as well see if she has talent," she says as we sit next to her "I did the same for you two you know,"
"Did you like them?" Kibo asked
"Uh, well, they were nice -"
"SHE LOVES US!"
Backstage ...
Hikari looked at her cards, The Marchen Lollipop Coord. "Oh please oh please may I be: As soft and sweet just like candy!"
