*Chapter 1 & 2; Prologue & Tragedy Strikes*

It Was a Clear sunny day, white streaks of faint clouds drifting through the sky.  It wasn't hot, nor cold, just the right temperature. It was spring, so flowers were happily blooming after being hidden by snow.

women out doing chores around the household, doing the task at the markets, taking care of their children since schools out for the summer so the children are out enjoying the lovely weather. It was Friday at the café called  Anteiku,

The ghouls Touka, Hinima, Nishiki, And Uta were all working in Anteiku the only person who was not in the café was Ken Kaneki,

He was upstairs in his room remembering his childhood Past With his Two Childhood Friends Hide and Kaiya Kamiko,

*Flashback*  A Young Ken Kaneki Was Sitting on A Small Hilltop Reading One of His Favorite Books; He was Waiting for Hideyoshi  To Show Up; 

He waited He Suddenly Felt Like Someone Was Watching  Him.  He looked Where he Thought Someone was, He was Correct;

He Turned to See a Young Girl The Same age as Him or One year older. She has Long Blue Hair And Brown Eyes; She wore a Black Dress with Roses on it.

Ken Never Seen Her Before He Could tell that She was New, He Decided Out of the Kindness of His heart He waved at Her, She waved back to him And Smiled at Him.

The Girl Walked over to Where He was, Hello I seen You Are here alone Are you Waiting for Someone? She asked in a Sweet Voice.

Ken Just Nodded and mutter a Yes, Girl: I See you Like to Read Books I do Like to Read As well. She Said to Him,

Looking at The book With Interest Ken: I Must Ask are you New Here? He Asked Her,

Girl: Yes I and My Family moved in a Few A Years, My Mom And I Come here to Run Errands She Explained to Him, Ken: Well, I hope you and your Family Enjoy your lives Here, He said to Her.

Girl: Thank You Forgive Me for Asking But what is Your Name? She Asked Him;  " My Name is Ken Kaneki But My Best Friend Calls Me Ken. He said to Her,

Girl: That is very Cute Name For You She said With A Smile, Ken Felt His Cheek Go Red As well.

Ken: Wow, Nobody Ever Said I Have a Cute Name Before, He Said To Her.  Girl: My Name Is Kaiya, Kaiya Kamiko. She said To Ken, Ken : * Whispers* Kaiya... Was all He Could Mutter To Himself,

Kaiya smiled at Him; Than Hideyoshi Appeared Kaiya Seemed to Noticed that The Two Friends Were Very Close, Hide Noticed Kaiya.

Hide: Hi There My Name is Hideyoshi Nagchika I am This Bookworm Nerds Best Friend. He Said to Kaiya,

Kaiya Gave Giggle. Kaiya: "It is Very  Nice To Meet you Hideyoshi," She said to Him. Hideyoshi: Pleasure is all Mine, What's Your Name? He asked her,  " Kaiya Kamiko,"  She said to Answer Hide's Question. 

Hide: Would You Like to Be Friends with us. He Asked Her, This Was The First Time Anyone had asked her to be Their Friend.

Kaiya: Of Course. She said To Them Happily. Ever Since that Day, The Three friends Became Like The Three Musketeers,

The Three Friends Went to The Same School But they had Different Classes But they would Alway meet up at the Main Entrance of The School.

The Three Friends would Play Many Games From hiding & Seek And Jumping Rope To Explorers Which was One of Their Favorites Games;
