Just as Lavendere got out of the building, he walked past everybody, humming a tune to himself. Nobody knew what tune it was, but whenever somebody heard it all their worries would be at rest.

Laven continued to walk around, humming the same tune again and again. It was clear that everybody around him had heard him, as in the background people were whispering “did you hear the songbird hum today? Wasn't it a pleasant tune like always” they chartered to their friends.

Just as Laven walked past some other people, something caught his attention and his eye. It was one of the people he was meaning to get close to, and that person was Hellmare.

Some people were wondering how such a person like Lavendere, the Songbird of *insert*, would be friends with. Person such as him! But, even with negative things always coming from Hellmare to him… he still tried to be his friend, he TRULY did want to be his friend.

Just as he approached him, hellmare crossed his arms together and glared at the poor songbird. Laven had seen this many times so he wasn't afraid or startled anymore by it.

FLASHBACK

Just as Lavendere tried to approach Hellmare, he glared at him. Making Laven whimper a little bit, but he didn't regret his decision one bit! He went a little bit closer and just like that he hugged hellmare

Hellmare was started by the sudden contact, as he had never been touched like that. And just then, just then… laven whispered something in his ear and backed away a bit, and patted his head

“it's okay to be lonely,

It's okay to be sad,

It's okay to cry,

It's okay’”

And just like that

His world had a new light entering

His dark,

Lonely,

Sad,

And hellish world

Had a new light.

FLASHBACK END

Just when Hellmare gave a glare, Laven smiled back.

Such a sweet, sweet smile that was..

After some time, they talked about some things, they talked about their day, what they ate, what color they wished the sky would be… and much more, much much more.

Lavendere gave Hellmare a hug, it felt like the hug that Hellamare had received when he first meet Laven. It was nice and warm… Hellmare decided that today and only today he would say something he would never expect him to say.

Hellmare shyly went up to his ear, and whispered just like Laven did,

And said three words

“i...Love you”

And that was all it took.

Lavendere them gasped in surprise and then slowly kissed his forehead, making Hellmare squeak out some mumbled words. They then shared another hug, but this time…

This time,

Lavendere was crying

He truly did care about Hellmare but never thought anybody loved him one bit.

“it's okay to be sad

It's okay to hug me

It's okay to love

And lastly

…

It's okay to be loved”’
