I walk into Barns and Noble, just needing to get away from it all. I brought my little sister with me, she is my only happiness, aside from my books. Some people say we do not look related, she has dark skin from being outside constantly, curly hair and she is short...meanwhile I'm tall, pale from being inside all the time, and I have pin straight black hair. I'm 18 and shes 12. And I have a tattoo of black flames encircled with a reddish-orange color on my shoulder.

She walked off to a section of books she likes while I walk over to the Starbucks adjoined to the bookshop. I take out my most favorite book in...like, history, Divergent, to finish my reread of it. When I reach chapter seventeen, I decide to order some coffee.

A tall vanilla bean frap with extra caramel. Same old. As I return to the table I was reading at, I see a good looking guy. Dark brown hair, a bit of stubble and deep brown eyes. And...HE. IS. HOLDING. DIVERGENT.

Yoga breaths, yoga breaths, I tell myself. He sees me and I feel blush rise to my cheeks as bury my face in my book again. I peek at him again and I see him walking towards me. Crap...crap....yoga breaths.

"Hey, Beautiful." I look up to him. I raise my eye brows as if to stay, 'You're talking to me?' He just smirks. "May I sit?" I nod.

"You seem fairly quite, may I ask why?" I take a sip of my drink and clear my throat. "By the way, my name is Theo James."

"I'm Korina Carstairs..." I smile lightly. "And I am quite because my little sister will make fun of me because I'm talking to a guy...and I usually dont like talking to people."

I start looking for my sister to see if I can find her from where I'm sitting. Nope. He just smiles.

"Tell me about yourself, Korina." I hesitate for a minute. Could this majestic creature sitting in front of me be an ax murderer? Probably not...

"What do want to know..and why?" I barley manage to say above a whisper.

"How about I say something..like my age or whatever and you tell me yours and then i will tell you my favorite color and you say yours and so on?" He smiles. God, this boy. i nod.

"Alight. I'm 20."

"I'm 18.'

"I like the color dark blue."

"I like silver."

"I'm reading Divergent." He holds up his new book and i giggle.

"I'm rereading Divergent." I smile when his eyes light up.

"What a great start." Theo smiles and I giggle..."You, Darling, have such an adorable giggle if I do say so myself." I could not hide the blush at this point.

"Why are you being so nice to me?" I ask.

"Beautiful girls need to be treated with total respect. And you 110% qualify as a beautiful girl." He winks and smiles.

"I have never been treated like this before so i must not be that beautiful." I whispered.

Theo is shocked. Like literally. His eyes are wide and his mouth is open slightly.

"How?" He pauses."You and I need to spend more time together so you know what it feels like to be so gorgeous."

He takes my hand and kisses my knuckles. More blushing. Then I hear the small squeal of my sister. I drop my head onto my other arm on the table.

"Oh my gods! Korina! You have a boyfriend!" Mystic shrieked. Other people in Starbucks and in Barnes and Noble turn their heads to look at her. She just shrugs.
