She was a reporter, you see, and a damn good one. She could locate a good story if she wanted to and this story she was after was right up her league. All she needed was a train ticket and a few packed bags and she was on her way to what she needed. She had heard of a little town in Maine, one that contains children going missing. It was perfect for the "story" she wanted. Needed.

As she walked the streets, the first thing she noticed was all the missing posters that covered every building on the street corner, barely no activity on the streets and the area was quiet, so quiet it was eerie.  She smiled to herself and with her 6 inch heels, strode down the sidewalk looking for answers.

"I'm telling you, I'm not going back into that house!" Stanley yelled to his friends.

"We need to and your ass knows it! Stop being a pussy shit!" Richie yelled back. The Losers club were all walking home from school.

"He's r-r-right." Billy stuttered. "I want him d-d-dead."

"You want who dead?" A sudden feminine voice sounded across the way from them making all of them stop. They all looked her way to see a beautiful middle-aged woman with long auburn hair in a messy bun wearing a blazer and a pencil skirt too short and tight to be a teacher or a business woman. The club remained quiet and just looked from one to the other, not sure if to answer. "Oh come on, its not every day you hear that from a child. You can trust me." She said sweetly as she approached them quickly.

Eddie spoke up first. "There's this clown that wants to kill us."

"Dumbass!" Richie could be heard through all the sighs and 'oh man' from the friends. The woman didn't break contact from his gaze as she kneeled in front of him.

"A clown. What clown?" She was intrigued and all too excited to meet him.

"He lives in the old well house. He finds our fear and uses that to his advantage." Eddie answers.

At this, she breaks his contact and looked at the group in front of her. "Well, since going there to kill this clown is still on the list of things to do. Mind if I tag along?"

"Why? And how are you even buying into anything he's saying? I thought adults didn't believe in monsters." Beverly snapped.

"I'm a reporter from California and once I heard about the mysterious disappearance of the children going on through the town, I had to see for myself and get to the bottom of things. The reason I believe you, is because you would be surprised of the kinds of things I've seen over the years." She tells them. "Now, how about letting me tag along."

After a long pause and the group of friends give each other a knowing look they all agreed and led her down the street to the abandoned old house that brought enough horror just by being outside.

They all look uneasy and terrified as they stood there. The newcomer only looked intrigued as she stepped forward, until she was pulled back by Beverly.

"I'll go in with you, I'm not scared of him anymore." She said. The woman smiled at her and they both walked in together. The place smelled of mold and dust mixed in with a hint of death and fear. It smelled wonderful. Beverly led her to the basement where old and broken bricks made up the well. "H-he's in there." Her voice was nothing more than a whisper.

She smiled and carefully stepped down the steps making sure not to break her heels or her ankle. Before they could take any more steps, two pairs of eyes glowed in the dark next to the well and both of them stopped. A satisfied smirk portrayed on the woman's lips while Beverly wanted nothing more than to run. Pennywise narrowed his eyes but never moved a muscle.

"You must be the notorious clown that these kids all keep talking about?" She grabbed Beverly's hand and squeezed reassuring her that she was well protected. The clown stayed quiet, smelling Beverly's fear rising but curious about the strange woman who followed her inside his home. "You want her don't you?"

At this Beverly's eyes snapped at the woman, eyes wide in terror.

Pennywise smiled.

He got her.

Beverly tried to pry her hands away from the reporter's, but she was stronger. "W-what are you doing? H-he's going to kill me!"

Without Beverly realizing, the woman slowly took off her heel and with full force, wedged her heel into Bev's neck. Blood oozing as she pulled the heel out. Beverly held her gaping neck while she wobbled and fell to the floor, her fear of defeat was enough for the hungry clown as he finally stepped out of the shadows and grabbed her and ripped off her head with one bite and swallowed.

The woman didn't even flinch.

She licked off the blood from her heel as they both kept eye contact before slipping it back on. He only stared at her with blood running down his chin, his jaw and teeth back to normal. She bit the nail of her index finger seductively and smiled. "You're the one I've been looking for."
