~An Aniki's love~

~Falling through hard times~

It was a hot summers day,as it had been for a while. Daiya oowada, the son of a notorious biker leader, and Mondo Oowada, the cute three year old brother of Daiya, the older brother that would do anything to protect him.

It was six in the morning, the heat had caused Daiya to wake up, mixed with the cries coming from his mother's room. Their mother was not home, as usual, she's never home, she's always out looking for another man who will give her a roof over her head, which made Daiya angry.
He entered the room, seeing his younger brother frolicking, crying from the uncomfortable feeling of a dirty diaper, which his mother has failed to change, ".... she couldn't bother to change ya before she left...?", in response to this comment , Mondo replied with a cute gargle noise, earning a smile from his big brother, " you're worth waking up everyday for, my little Mond-ster...", and with that, he changed his soiled diaper, changing the child's mood from sad to happy.

It was a monday, but Daiya wasn't going to school today, there's no one who can watch Mondo, but it didn't matter, he hadn't been to school in three days since the sudden disappearance of their mother. he did the usual; - make Mondo his bottle, - give him a bath, - set an alarm for his afternoon naps, and so on. Their father left on short notice, not giving much detail on where he was going or why he left, leaving Daiya and their mother to help raise Mondo. He remembers the promise she made with their father before he left, " I'll be waiting for you right here when you come back, Daichi," he remembered, getting lost in his thoughts. The sound of the microwave beeping brought him back to reality, "Da!!!!", Mondo whined, reaching his arms out towards Daiya, trying to call out his name, " don't worry, Lil man. I'm comin', I'm comin'...", Daiya delivers this nutritional meal to the whining Mondo, Mondo replied with a mutter, "... daddy!...", Daiya almost jumped out of his shoes at the name, not knowing what to say, should he say, " no, Mondo, I'm Daiya!", or, " I'm your Aniki, silly!", but the words can't come out, it is as if his mouth is glued shut. The weird thing is, is that this made him smile, for the first time in a while.
