Our Depressing World

Chapter 1

"your really ugly, You don't belong here" Maya said pushing max to a pile of mud. The whole school began laughing at max. She looked at everyone who was laughing it seemed like the whole world was laughing at her. Tears began falling down max eyes to her cheek. "LEAVE HER ALONE SHE HAS DONE NOTHING TO YOU" Amy said running towards max. "ugh party pooper lets go every one" maya said leaving the other students also left. Max hugged amy as tight as she could she was glad to have a friend just like amy...but max had a crush on amy since 8th Grade but amy hasn't noticed or dosnt know. "what did they say to you...d-did they do something to you? tell me max" amy said very worried "They called me ugly...I already know I am but I keep hearing it over again" max said with more  tears falling down her eyes "Max,Listen to me you don't see what I see...and right now what I'm looking at is beauty...you are beautiful" Amy said looking into maxs eyes. Max kept thinking to herself she was ugly that amy was just saying such things since she was her best friend max suddenly says,"would you love me still if I was lesbian?" she looked away. "Max,i love you any way" amy said smiling max forced a smile. They both stood up and walked home. Once max got to her house she threw her backpack to the floor and ran to her bathroom and locked it even tho no one was home with her. She grabbed a pocket knife she kept inside a box and lifted up her shirt sleeves and began looking at the cuts she did a few days ago  and she placed the pocket knife sharp part to one of the cuts and pressed it down making blood come out her skin she continued doing it until she saw a lot of blood on her skin. she put the pocket knife next to the sink and took  her shoes off and walked into the bathtub and she sat inside it with the water on. The water suddenly changed to the color red she got out the bathtub and quickly let the blood water go she grabbed the pocket knife and walked out the bathroom straight to her room she layed on her bed and took a nap.When she woke up she saw her mom in her room "MAX GET THE HELL UP AND FUCKING CLEAN OR ILL KICK YOU OUT" max mom slapped max. Max felt confident and said,"MAYBE I DONT WANT TO CLEAN MAYBE I WANT YOU TO KICK ME OUT THAT WAY YOU WILL STOP ABUSING ME" max 8 year old sister sarah peeked in maxs room hearing max and her mom yelling. Max began packing her stuff "IM NOT LETTING YOU ABUSE ME AT AGE 16 RIGHT NOW YOUVE BEEN ABUSING ME EVER SINCE DAD DIED I WAS ONLY 7 I HAD TO WORK HARD WHILE YOU SAT THERE DOING NOTHING YOU WOULD SOMETIMES LEAVE TO GET DRUNK AND GO WITH OTHER GUYS" max said her mom slapped her "im your mother i own you if you live under my roof you obey me and respect me" maxs mom said "FUCK YOU AND YOUR ROOF" Max said already with her stuff in her arms she didnt grab everything she only grabbed a few stuff and ran downstairs max mom was sick and tired of max she didnt care about max anymore. Sarah hugged max saying "please dont leave max i love you...i need a friend"  The words that came out of sarahs mouth made max cry  since she flashed back she did the same thing  that she used to  do when her father was still alive she would hug her father  telling him not to go since she loved him. "sarah,i love you too but i cant keep living like this"  max said max mom was just watching sarah and max talk. Max opened the door and walked out she stopped and looked back saying,"Sarah Smith,dont you forget me" Tears began falling down sarah eyes Max walked all the way with her stuff to a hotel.
