What inspired the gods?
PERSONALITY
Piothia/Pioth's personality is inspired by my own. However we look nothing alike, as am a 15yr old white boy, and Pioth has some pigment, and is eighteen thousand yrs old.
Willope is inspired by my three year old brother. Willope is a very curious and energetic person. He is very blunt and often doesn't notice things until they are pointed out to him.
Mejen is inspired by my mother.Snaka is equal parts Loki and Midas, except she feels heavy regret.
ORIGIN
Mejen just showed up, fucking confused why she existed, and with art supplies, which she used to create the world.
Pioth/Piothia and Willope have the same origin story. They flew out of Mejen's fingers. Willope from the pointer, Pioth from the middle. They were as powerful as Mejen, but as they split their souls to create more gods, they became weakened. At the time of Skye's Blood, they are physically the weakest gods, but know how to use their powers much better than the others.
Snaka was originally a human. She saved a child from being executed for stealing by taking her place. They drowned her in molten gold. Halip (god of children and parenthood) saw this, and resurrected her, making her an immortal god with the ability to turn anything into gold. (Really, Halip? She just drowned in gold. Why not remind her of her own death? Dick move, my guy, dick move.)
EXTRA
Mejen's skin tone changes based on how close the world is to doom. The paler Mejen is, the closer the end is. When she looks like an albino, that earth is gone. When she the color of ink, you're hydrated, your crops are watered, and the stock markets are up.
