Pre-game thoughts: I think that Lightbulbkin wins the reward for the most relatable comment. I never thought I'd have a nonwork like this on my profile, either, so this is an unexpected first for both of us!
Tonight's ship is Tissues x Yin-Yang!
==
Rating out of 100: 80/100.
Do I ship this?: Yep!
Why do I/don't I ship this?: It's clean, wholesome fun. Definitely not the kind of ship one would expect to exist, but that just makes it an unexpected surprise when it's done well.
Is this my favorite ship for one/both of the characters?: This is my favorite Yin-Yang ship, but I'd say it ties with Cheesy x Tissues for my favorite Tissues ship.
====
Thoughts on the ship name: I don't like it. Tissues x Yang would be an interesting concept, and it and Tiss x Yin are totally different, from each other and from Yin-Yang x Tissues. We could have had Yissues, guys! YISSUES!
My favorite story involving these two: I'm not sure that this counts, but I really liked The Tale of Horrible Harry by Taffyness while it was running! It wasn't expressly Tissyang, but Taffyness had a sweet take on the kind of friendship they'd have starting in chapter two.
Things I enjoy in art/stories about them: Just seeing them being friends is lovely! Neither would have many, after all.
Things I wish I saw more of in art/stories about them: I'd want to see more of them in general, I think.
===
Five headcanons about them:
Neither Yin-Yang nor Tissues has that many friends, so they were surprised and pleased to find each other.
Tissues would be the sappiest little thing ever, always remarking about how lucky he is to have Yin-Yang.
Both Yin and Yang would come to like Tissues, albeit in different ways: Yin would want to nurture him and take care of him, while Yang would want to make him toughen up.
The way Tissues and Yin-Yang first truly "met" was when Yang tried to bully Tissues, but found that he's too pathetic for even him to torment.
Soap has the most mixed feelings ever about these two hanging out: she thinks Yin and Yang arguing (sometimes over who gets to spend time with Tissues) is pretty cute, but doesn't want to even think about the germs that come out of Tissues.
A story I'd write about them, if I had the time/interest:
Mixed Feelings, in which Yang decides to bully Tissues, but finds that he's so pathetic that he needs to be taught the ways of the world! Yin for once is impressed by Yang's good intentions as they have a thrilling day of good health: exercise! Weight training! Eating well! It'd continue beyond the day, perhaps with Yin-Yang (both halves) presenting Tissues with a heart-shaped salad months later when they've become close friends.
The holiday that best reflects this ship, and why: The first Monday in February, otherwise known as National Sick Day! It's the day that the greatest number of employees calls in sick all year, and Yin-Yang would totally take a break from what it is he does to spend it with Tissues.
Where do they end up in life?: Yin-Yang becomes the host of his own show, "That's Gotta Hurt!", wherein his halves argue over things and then duke it out. It's been rated by critics as "the stupidest show to ever air," but it more than pays the bills. Tissues would be the stay-at-home partner who supports Yin-Yang behind the scenes.
