"You want to write a song with me!?!" Yujin cried "Why?"

"Because you're songs are both amazing!" said Kibo "You wrote the song for your music video, right?"

"Of course,"

"And you write a lot of songs, Kalani!"

"Yeah, but ..."

"Come on! Two great artist, working together, to write a great song! It will be great!" Kibo smiled brightly. I looked at Yujin, he shrugged.

"We can try," I said

"Great! That's great! So when will the song be ready?"

"We said we try, not that it will actually happen," said Yujin

"Oh ... well I hope you actually write the song,"

The next day, Yujin and I met at the Muffin Café to discuss the song. "So what should the song be about?" I asked

"I don't know," he replied

"Should we use one of my old songs?"

"I don't know,"

"Are you going to help or not?"

"I don't know,"

"UGH!"

"What's the big deal? It's just a song we don't know we'll finish or not. And your producer said so herself she only hopes we finish it,"

"But she'll be so disappointed if we don't! Please just ... work with me here!" I tried to give Yujin the puppy dog eyes.

"Well ... if it means that much to you -"

"YAY!" I take out my notebook of songs. "So I have a few ideas in here," I hand it to Yujin. "There just some old songs I wrote,"

Yujin looks thru the pages of my notebook, I feel tense. What if he thinks they're stupid? Will just walk away saying I have no talent for song writing?

"I like them," he says "But ... they're not finished,"

"Well, yeah, that's a problem. I don't know how to finish songs,"

"That I can help you with," Yujin pointed to a song "What's this?"

"Oh, I heard this song and I liked it so much I wrote my own version of it. I didn't quiet finish it either,"

"Well I like it! I think we can work on this one," I beam "But how much is it like the original song?"

"Uh ... too much,"

"That we need to change. Is it an upbeat song?"

"Yeah,"

"Then maybe we should try slowing it down, that way it sounds more like your own song,"

"Our song!"

"Sure, our song,"

"Finished!!" we cried.

We had started writing the song after my internship, which was ... 6 hours ago. It was amazing! The ideas just started pouring out of us, like we already knew the song! And who knew Yujin was such a great song writer? Oh right, Kibo.

"I can't believe we actually did it!" I cried "We wrote our own song!"

"And you're going to perform it in front of actual people!" Yujin added

"Yeah! We did it! We really did it!" I suddenly wrapped Yujin into a hug.

"W-what are you doing!?!" he asked
