Chapter 1: Moving in

I carry up the very first box to my new apartment. I set the box down and take a deep breath. "Home sweet home." I moved into an apartment building in room 4B. I walk back down the stairs and pick up the next box. As I lift it up I see two guys walk in. One man is short with dark hair and glasses. The other is tall, with sparkling eyes, and brown hair. He was attractive not to mention. The little man walks up to me. "Uh Hey." "Hi." You say. "Oh... Hey." Say the tall one. They kind of awkwardly stand silent for a moment. "Oh uh I'm Leonard." I look at the tall one and he just stares at me. "Oh right, I'm Sheldon." "I'm y/n." I would shake your hands but you know." I shake the box a little. "Oh that's okay." Says Sheldon. "Hey do you want help with all these boxes?" Leonard says. "Yes. If it is not an inconvenience to your afternoon activities." "Well, no it is not." They start picking up boxes. "What apartment are you in?" Leonard asks. "4B." "Hey, that's right across from us." Sheldon points out. We begin walking up the stairs. "Y/n, what is in this box that makes it so heavy?" Leonard asks as we walk into my apartment. "Uh..." I say as I put my box down on my floor. Let me see it. He puts the box down. I bend over and open it. "Ah it's my gaming consoles." Sheldon walks over and takes one out. "This is a Magnavox Odyssey." He says surprised. "The Magnavox Odyssey was the very first video game console ever released, predating even the Atarï Pong." "Mhmm." I open my box of dishes. "A hybrid of both analog and digital circuitry, the Odyssey is the absolute starting point for all subsequent gaming platforms." I nod and walk over near him. "Even though it lacks color video output or sound, it still managed to sell over 300,000." "Yes it did." "How did you get one of these?" "I got it at a garage sale." "What's this?" Leonard says taking out another console. I look at it. "It's a 3DO, released by Panasonic in 1993." Sheldon comes up behind me. "It's a 32-bit, disc based system that had the technological grit to compete with the leading consoles of its time." I turn and look up at Sheldon. "That's right." "Sheldon look she even has a Nintendo game cube." Leonard points out. "And a PS3, an original Xbox, a Wii, a Nintendo 64, an original PlayStation, an Xbox 360, even a Super Nintendo Entertainment System." Sheldon looks at me. "Wow I am impressed." "Thank you, Sheldon." "Hey you have all the halo games." "Indeed I do." "Oh good, maybe she can come play with us on Halo night." "Mhmm." "You have every single legend of Zelda game made." "Yes, I do." "Sheldon she has all of the Start trek movies." ... "and Star Wars, and planet of the apes, and quite the collection of sci-fi and alien horror." "Thank you Leonard." I begin going back down for more boxes. Sheldon follows. "So where will you be working?" "Some research lab probably." "What are you doing for dinner tonight?" "I believe I will most likely be eating some kind of food." "Well yes, but do you already have plans on what to eat?" "No, why do you ask?" "Well..." he says as he lifts a box. "It's Thai food night." We begin walking up the stairs. He stop and looks down at me on the stairs. "I guess what I'm trying to say is..." he shifts awkwardly. "Would you care  to join me and Leonard for dinner?" "Yes, that would be very nice."

Me and Sheldon walk in with the boxes just as Leonard walks out to get more. I bend over and put the box down. "Y/n, I don't think it is such a good idea for you to bend over in that skirt." Sheldon says. "I can see your... you know." He says. "Oh well I suppose you're right, I did not think about it." I say as I rise and turn to look up at him. "I apologize." He nods. I bend over but I am careful about exposing my posterior. I don't know why but his eyes make me feel at home. I am very comfortable around him.

(Later)
I have finished getting my place set up. "Thank you guys for your help." "You're welcome." "Hey would you care to come over and eat dinner with us? It's Thai night." Leonard asks. "Oh Sheldon already invited me, so yes." "Oh did he now." He looks at Sheldon. "Well we shall see you in an hour." "Okay, see you then." "Bye." "Bye." I wave.

"Well thank you guy for inviting me over for dinner." I stand up. "Howard, Raj, it was nice meeting you." Howard stands and comes close to me. "Oh please y/n the pleasure was all mine." "Howard I know 105 ways to paralyze you with one touch." I say as I look at him. "Okay." Howard sits down. "Y/n would you like to come over tomorrow night and eat with us again?" Leonard asks. "Oh sorry I can't." "Why not?" "I have a band performance tomorrow at this cheesecake place." "Would it happen to be the Cheesecake Factory?" "Yes I believe that's the name." "Our friend Penny works there." "Oh that's cool." "She lives in the apartment above you actually." "Oh neat, well I'll be going now." "Wait what time will you be playing?" "7:00." "Okay we'll be there." Sheldon rises and holds the door open for me. "Thank you." "Goodnight." "Night."
