I see that you somehow ran into this story and decided to read it! Well, I want to say thank you for having the time to read this and I hope you enjoy it!
If you are new to reading x Reader stories, here are the keys:
(Y/N)= Your Name
(L/N)= Last Name
(H/L)= Hair Length
(H/C)= Hair Color
(E/C)= Eye ColorIt was a bright and sunny day as I ran through the large, beautiful, green garden. My (H/L) (H/C) hair trailing behind me as I ran. I let out a laugh before my (E/C) eyes looked behind me. Right behind me was a 6 year old boy with soft, silky, blonde hair and shining, amethyst colored eyes. I grinned.
"Am I too fast for you? ", I teased. "Or are you too slow to keep up?"
"Just you wait until I catch you! I'll show you who's slow!", He yelled playfully.
I stuck my tongue out at him before looking forward and running faster. As I ran, I looked around before noticing a large tree causing me to smirk as an idea formed in my head. I ran even faster towards the tree. Once I was close to it, I began climbing it at a quick pace. When I thought I was high enough, I stopped climbing.
"Hey! That's not fair. You know my mother doesn't let me climb trees.", whined the boy, who had been chasing me, as he came to a stop below the tree I was now sitting on. I grin before looking down and sticking my tongue out at him.
"Tough luck, Elias. I'm not getting down so you better come after me if you want to catch me.", I said. "Unless you're too much of a chicken to do it."
To annoy him further, I began to make chicken noises. Sure enough, it worked.
"I'll show you I'm not a chicken!", Elias called out with a glare before he began to climb the tree.
I watched in amusement as he tried climbing the tree. At first, he struggled to get up. I laughed.
"Can't climb a tree? I guess you won't catch me after all.", I said.
This seemed to fuel his anger and determination because before I knew it, he was right next to me.
"Got you!", He said before wrapping his arms around me. I let out a squeal of surprise before pouting.
"No fair. You surprised me without warning. I could have fallen you know.", I whined.
"Well, maybe you shouldn't have climbed the tree or made fun of me.", He pointed out as he removed his arms from me. I pouted and turned my back to him. There was a moment of silence. "(Y/N)?", Elias called out to me. I ignored him and kept my back facing towards him. "You aren't mad are you?"
Silence.
"(Y/N)?"
Silence.
"I'm sorry if I made you mad.", Elias apologized. The very next moment, I felt something warm wrap around me. I looked behind me to see Elias hugging me, his face all sad. I let out a sigh. How could I stay mad at him when he makes such a sad face? I removed his arms from me before carefully turning around to face him.
"Don't be sad. I'm not mad.", I said with a smile. Elias expression lightened up upon hearing this.
"Really?", He asked.
"Really.", I confirmed. I then let out a squeak as Elias suddenly hugs me.
"Yay! I don't know what I would have done if my future wife was mad at me.", He said with a grin. I felt my cheeks warm up a bit.
