— Jay Bieber

What the hell was I fucking thinking?

This girl lied to me, betrayed me in the worst possible way, yet I let her go which lead me to get beaten by my brother. I didn't get why I had been taking the her side when she was the troublemaker from the start, making me think she was a totally different person. She knew the entire time that I was looking her– Chloe Romano, yet she stayed days after days. For what? Was she only staying because I paid for her dinner and allowed her sleep in my house? It didn't matter why she was staying, I just knew that I was done with her.

Nobody lied straight into my face, before.

Damien was right about Romanos lying for a living, she truly made me believe she was Julia Gallo, an innocent, beautiful girl who was traveling across the continent and accidentally got caught up in some trouble. I needed to erase her out of my life, make her pay for what she did to me. I was sick and tired for being disrespected, even by people I thought I could trust. I was tired of being known as the weakling who couldn't do anything right– I was not a failure.

I was laying on the floor for around 15 minutes, feeling like pure shit, but I deserved to take that time to get my thoughts together. Damien was family and family sticks together, no matter what. I couldn't lay here and look like an idiot who can't even find one goddamn girl and get the job over with, I needed to push myself off of the floor. I, Jay Bieber, won't be taking shit from anyone, anymore.

I pushed myself off of the floor, feeling a little light headed at first. My whole body hurt like a fucking bitch, but I had to suck it up. I wasn't a little kid, anymore. It had been time for me to fight my own battles and prove to everyone that I deserve to be in Damien's place, one day. I soon stumbled into the bathroom, looking into the mirror to see my darkened cheeks, blood dripping out of my nose. I turned on the sink, splashing cold water on my face and sighed when it ran down my open cuts. After a good minute, I shut the water off and patted my face with a towel, then walked right out of the bathroom. I bent over, feeling a sharp pain in my ribs, then reached for my gun that fell out of my pocket.

"Look who finally got off of the ground." Damien nodded up at me, while sitting on the couch with his legs crossed up on the coffee table. "Good for you."

He was proud that after I took the beating from him, I was still going to do my job. I wasn't going to lay there and look pathetic. "I had to get my fucking thoughts together." I stated, snatching my black leather jacket from behind him. I put my arm through the right sleeve, then through the left.

"You're going to kill the girl?" He questioned in astonishment at my seriousness.

"What does it look like I'm about to do, Damien?" I spat darkly, reaching for the counter for the keys to my ducati motorcycle.

"Looks like you've reevaluated yourself well." He nodded his head in approval. I grimaced, throwing the keys in my jacket pocket, not wanting to be bothered with him for the moment.

"I sure did." I stated, snatching the front door open. "She won't even be able to see the crack of dawn, I'll make sure of that."

Not letting Damien say anything to me, I slammed the door, walking around to the side of my house to see my jet black ducati leaning against it. I kicked my leg over the seat, sitting down to put my key in the ignition. I then took off, riding through my lawn, eventually getting on the street. The wind blew through my hair, and I led myself into the direction where I'd know to find Chloe. The place I first found her.
