The alarm sounded throughout the house. Every beep seeming to taunt the man awake. The man's eyelids slowly opened showing his tired, bloodshot blue eyes. Sitting up slowly the man yawned, and drowsily turned off his alarm clock. Sighing, he put his feet on the floor, stood up, walked to his closet and got dressed. He put on his work uniform and his badge, "Agent Luciel Christiansen".
You see he's an agent for the government with a small position.

After getting dressed he walked downstairs and made himself breakfast. He toasts some bread and spreads peanut butter on it. Popping the slice of toast in his mouth he quickly grabs his work case and heads out the door. Picking up his phone the young man calls his boss. "Hello Mr. Newton," he hears the rustling of clothes from the other side of the line, "I wanted to tell you I will be a little bit late for work."

"Agent Christiansen," his boss says threateningly, "this is the third time this month." Luciel sighed, "I'm very sorry Mr. Newton, my sleep apnea seems to be getting worse by the day. It's keeping me up all night and making me tired in the morning." His boss sighed, "Hurry up and come to work. I have important information to discuss with you." His boss hung up the phone leaving Luciel very confused. Luciel brushed off his confusion, hopped into his car and drove to work.

Luciel jumped out of his car and quickly walked into his workplace with great anxiety about the so-called "important information" his boss had mentioned to him. Luciel walked up to his boss's door and knocked. He heard a gruff voice quickly answer him, "Come in." Opening the door Luciel walked in and looked at his sagging face. You see his boss is at least sixty seven years old, and has been working here for a long time. "Sit down," his boss demanded. Luciel obliged and sat down in the chair in front of his boss's desk. "What is it you needed me for sir?" Luciel asked with great curiosity. "That's exactly what I wanted to discuss with you. Your job is Star Creator. You create the shooting stars people wish on every night." his boss stated. Luciel nodded, "What does this have to do with what you have to tell me, sir?" His boss gave him a serious look, "I'm giving you a raise."

Luciel almost fainted on the spot. He smiled a smile that could shine brighter than the brightest of stars. "Really, sir?" he asked excitedly. Mr. Newton chuckled, "Yes, I have a very important job to give you." Luciel looked at him confused. "I want to make you the next Wish Maker." Luciel's eyes widened in shock.

"No way!" he exclaimed, not believing his boss's words. "I want you to grant the wishes of people all around America." Luciel couldn't believe his ears. Wish Maker is one of the most honored and important jobs in the entire company. "Starting tomorrow you will be the next Wish Maker" his boss said enthusiastically.
