Chapter 5 >> Sacrifice Substitute

(With (y/n). She is heading to the top of the Tower, her magic energy fully charged once again. She enters the "throne" room. Jellal on the large chair)
(y/n): Jellal.
Jellal: *stands up* the prisoner has escaped, along with her friends. But then again, I figure you knew that, didn't you?
(y/n): Yes. I did.
Jellal: You dare betray me.
(y/n): I am not betraying anyone, Jellal. You used me, just like you used the others. Simon, Sho, Millianna, and Wally.
Jellal: You find fault in the fact I did it but you seem to forget that you had just as much part in it as I.
(y/n): You said you loved me!
Jellal: Well actually, I thank you.
(y/n): For?
Jellal: For being so easy to manipulate!
(y/n): Damn you! *stumbles, as the Tower shakes*
Jellal: It is coming.
(y/n): The Etherion!
(With Natsu and the others. Sho, Wally, and Millianna are also with them)
Grey: What was that?!
Juvia: I sense high amounts of magic energy.
Erza: The Etherion. Everyone needs to get off the island!
Natsu: *sniffs* I smell something.
Happy: It could be the Etherion, Natsu! Duhhh!
Natsu: No, something else.
(With (y/n) and Jellal)
(y/n): *looks out the big glassless window. Sees a large light, far brighter than the sun* it's here.....
Jellal: Mehahahaha....... ahahahahahahaha!
(y/n): Jellal, I hate you! *speeds toward him* Night Dragon—! *is interrupted by a rumble, then a light.*
(With Natsu)
Wally: We gotta leave!
Natsu: Not without (y/n)!
Erza: Simon and (y/n) are still in there!
Grey: Look, if we don't get out of here, NONE of us will survive this!
Lucy: Incoming!!!
(The Etherion hits the Tower and sends the boat flying. What the people on the boat don't know, is that Natsu sneaked off the boat before it got blown away and he is clinging to a rock.
Short time skip, the Tower is now a huge Lacrima.)
Natsu: *looks up at the tower* what the—....
(With (y/n))
(y/n): *coughs, is on her knees. She looks up at Jellal, then around at the lacrima* The Tower of Heaven's true form....
Jellal: It is finally ready.
(y/n): One problem, Jellal. You don't have a sacrifice with Erza gone.
Jellal: Who says she can't be replaced? In fact, it is quite easy to find a replacement. One is standing right in front of me.
(y/n): *gets on her feet* M-me....?! You can't be serious!
Jellal: *keeps a straight face*
(y/n): You are serious.
Jellal: *uses his magic to hold her in one place*
(y/n): I-I can't move! What did you do?!
Jellal: Since you can no longer be trusted, you will serve your purpose as the final piece to the resurrection of Zeref.
(Natsu is running up the lacrima as they speak)
Jellal: *uses his magic to push (y/n) into the lacrima. She is half way in, crying in agony*
(y/n): Ugnnnnnn!!!
Natsu: *comes running in and stops in between them* So. You're Jellal. *turns to (y/n). Runs to her and pulls her out of the Lacrima*
(y/n): N-Natsu....!
(Natsu lands, feet on the ground, carrying (y/n) Bridal style.)
Jellal: You!
Natsu: Yeah, it's me. *looks down at (y/n)* you play in magic ?
(y/n): Y-yeah. Thanks...
Natsu: Can you stand?
(y/n): Yeah...
Natsu: *helps her balance on her feet, still holding her up*
(y/n): Thanks.
Natsu: You get some rest.
(y/n): H-huh? No I don't! Let me fight.
Natsu: *punches her in the gut. She falls to the ground, unconscious*
Jellal: What kind of sick sense of humour do you have? Do you find joy is hurting others?
Natsu: She refused to rest. So I forced it upon her. *turns to him* you have no room to talk. You find joy in toying with the lives of others. Let me teach you a lesson.
Jellal: Do your worst. I've been itching to really experience the true power of Salamander!
Natsu: Gladly.
(With (y/n). Inside her head....)

I start to sense a strange feeling. My whole body starts to go numb. It is almost like something is lifting away from me. I open my eyes, slowly. I see Natsu in the midst of fighting Jellal. His stance, his eyes, his body. It's all focused on Jellal. I close my eyes and wince in pain. Something is lifting from me, I know it, but what?
