Chapter 8:

'Jaaccee. I just need to be alone right now. Okay? Please, can I jus think about this.'

'No Ember, you can't think about this. Especially not alone. You're not alone, talk to me. Don't freeze out on me. Please talk to me, baby.'

Jace P.O.V

I know I should let her be who she is, but I can't let her cut. I know it's my fault for not telling her till now..

Why didn't I tell her before?

I reach out and grab on to her hand and pull her towards me.

'Baby, please don't do this. I love you. You have to get better Em. You can't keep doing this to yourself, you just can't.'

'Jace, you don't get it. You've never cut or felt this shity. You don't wake up every morning wishing you hadn't. You have things to live for. You can sing, draw, play guitar and your super attractive. You're really sweet and you're a caring person. I, on the other hand, absolutely can't do anything. I'm worthless and not important. All I do is cut and cry. I'm not anything really to look at. I'm fat, and I'm just not pretty enough to be here. I'm not even pretty enough to be talking to you. Why do you come over here? Why do you talk to me? Why do you cuddle with me when you could fuck whomever you wanted. You're perfect.'

She sighs and pauses. 'You're loveable, Jace, you can be loved. I can't be, it's impossible to love a fuck up like me. I want to kill myself every goddamn day. Who would ever want to be with a girl, and ugly girl, like that. That's right, no one. I'm sorry, but you should leave.'

'Leave?'

'Yes Jace, leave.'

'Uhm. No I was actually asked to stay over all day, and I can't break my dates. And anyway, I can't go home till after school is over and it's only 10 right now.' I say with a smile.

I get up and kiss Ember on her cheek. She turns slowly and looks at me so confused. I kiss her lips slowly.

'Ember, please will you be my official girlfriend? I'll show you that you ARE loveable.' I look into her eyes as I say those words to her. She starts to cry, causing me to wipe the tears away with my tumb.

*A few hours later* (Ember P.O.V)

'UNO!' I scream. I got this game in the bag! I've already beat Jace at the last 4 games, but he wanted one last chance. I have a +4 color changing card, so no matter what I will win. Well, unless he has a +4 color changer as well, but I'm pretty sure we played them all already.

'How do you already have an UNO!? Gosh Ember, you're such a cheater!' Jace says while smiling the biggest ever. He leans over and kisses me.

He lays down a normal color changer card and takes a risk by saying 'I change it to red.'

I say 'Goddamn it boy!'

He lets out his low rumble of a laugh.

I lay down my card and look up at him to see his reaction.

His eyes bulge 'What the hell! That so does not count! Ember Rae Jaymes! You ARE a cheater! Color changing cards do not let you win! That's not even okay!'

I laugh so hard and climb into his lap. 'You're just jealous and wish your girlfriend was bad so you could win.' I kiss his lips softly and look into his soft blue eyes and giggle quietly. Jace grabs my sides and tickles me, causing me to scream out hysterically.

'Jace! Stop it! I. Can't. Breathe!' I yell in between breaths and laughs.

He stops tickling me and picks me up, causing me to wrap my legs around his torso. He carries me to my bed and lays me down sexually. It gets serious.

He slowly gets on top of me and kisses me passionately, and stops. 'Wanna watch a movie?' He says smirking, knowing that he turned me on fully and teasing me.

He has got to stop doing that, this is probably why he has never gotten laid.

'Surreee.' I say. 'What movie?'

'Uh, whatever you want sweetheart' he replies.

I don't know what movie to choose.

'How about The Little Mermaid?!' I yell bouncing up and down on my bed like a little kid.

He laughs at me and tells me to stop.

'Make me!' I say sticking out my tongue and jump off the bed on the opposite side as Jace is.

'Oh, really now? That game?' He replies. He pounces over the bed towards me and misses, which makes both of us laugh.

'Shit! I gotta pee!' I scream and run to the bathroom door with Jace on my tail. I shut the door just as he slams into it. I laugh even harder and almost piss my pants. I scurry to the toilet and sit down and start relieving myself. I hear Jace out the door fumbling with the nob.

'Jacceee. Whatcha doing?' I ask him.

'Uh. Uhm. Oh. Uh. Nothing Emb.'

I hear the door unlock.

I watch in horror as the door opens up. All. The. Way.

'YOU BUTTWIPE! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING! JUST BECAUSE WE'RE DATING NOW DOES NOT MEAN YOU CAN BARGE IN ON ME PEEING!'

He starts laughing hysterically. 'Oh, but it does. I now have the right to do so.' He says smiling.

I pick up a towel that was left on the floor and throw it at his head, but he catches it before it hits him.

'GET OUT! I gotta wipe.. Please, get out?'

'Not gonna happen babe.'

I got a wad of toilet paper and wiped as secretly as I could.

'See, now we broke the "Peeing Together Ice." Jace says giggling at me like a kid.

'Oh shut up!' I say throwing the toilet paper roll at him.

I hope this was longer.! It probably wasn't. I write on my iPod in the Notes app and it always seems like it'll be super long and it never actually is /: Which is annoying!

I'll probably update Friday or the weekend (depending on when I have wifi to connect to, because I don't have Internet at home)
