// Emily's POV \\
*1 week later*
I couldn't take this any more, he wouldn't leave my fucking head. One week he hasn't even spoken or even looked at me.
It's fine just come in, take a kiss and then never acknowledge my existence again. No its not fine.
"Are you okay?" Calum stopped walking at the side of me. It was lunch time and we were walking through campus to go get something to eat.
"Yeah I'm fine" I sighed and carried on walking.
From behind he wrapped his hand around my wrist and spun me round.
His eyebrows we furrowed, "You don't look fine?" He cocked his head to the side.
It was all building up on my chest, I was sick of telling people I'm fine. I want to know what Ive done to deserve his ignorance. I need to find him.
"There's something I need to do" and with that I spun around picking up my speed as I made my way to the cafeteria where he usually sat.
I could feel the anger heating up inside me as I got closer and closer to the doors. Thats when I stopped, he sat with his arm slung round another girl. Surprisingly it was the same girl who was wearing his snapback at the party. I swallowed the lump in my throat and took a deep breath before storming over to the table.
"Luke can I talk to you for a second" He looked up at me with no emotion what so ever.
"Fire away" he weaved his arm from around her shoulder and sat back against the folded away chairs at the back of the cafeteria with his arms folded over his chest.
Every pair of eyes which were at that table were on me. "In private?" I shouted/whisperd.
A chorus of "ooohs" were made which I knew sent my cheeks a deep shade of pink.
"Fuck off lads" He must have forgotten there were at least 5 girls as well.
He stood up pulling his trousers up slightly by the back belt holes and licked his lips. One of his long legs stepped on the top of the table and the other one followed until he finally jumped down the other side. He fixed his snapback before following me out of the cafeteria.
We had been walking for a good 10 minutes in silence until we reached the back of the football feild.
He wasn't paying any attention what so ever as he stared down at his phone tapping away.
"Rude"
"What do you want?" He asked placing his iPhone in his back pocket.
"Hmm I don't know maybe a call or a text message after you left the other week" This was the first time I looked into his eyes since a week ago. They were a lighter shade in the sun.
He let out a small laugh "Are you fucking kidding me?".
"What?"
"You've been hanging around with lover boy ever since" I hope he didn't mean 'lover boy' bye Calum.
"Calum?"I scoffed.
He nodded.
"We a just friends, nothing more"
"That's what they all fucking say Emily" He laughed.
"Why are you being like this?" I could feel the lump forming in my throat again.
"Are you fucking him?"
"what, NO" I only ever cry when I'm angry and the tears are threatening to fall.
"Good" He had no emotion spread across his features what's so ever.
I began to feel sick. I stood there knowing full well tears were going to fall.
He stepped forward cupping my face with his hands using his thumbs to wipe the tears.
"I can't do this" He half whispered.
"You are in my mind twenty four seven and its killing me Em, seeing you walk around with him, Him of all people" He stepped back and suddenly I felt cold.
I nodded, I stepped back sniffing up I think I was good for tears now.
"Forget about me then" I said raising my arms and slapping them on my sides.
"I didn't mean t-"
"Honestly Luke I'm over it" I laughed.
"Cya around Luke".
He nodded and we both went our seperate ways. In a way I was happy now I knew where we both stand. But I knew deep down it wouldn't last.
I sighed and made my way to my next class.
