I didn't expect that the intern would be so clingy. Even on his break he'd come hang out with me.
Ugh, could he take a hike for once?
"You're telling me to shut up?" Charlie asked, offended. "What the hell are you gonna do to me Cash?!" she backed away, as he came closer.
Cash pinned her against the wall, his hands gripped around her wrists so that she could not move. Charlie turned her head, hoping he would do anything. She knew that if she tried to kick him, he'd most likely just pin her to ground, hurting her even more.
"Keep struggling and your leg will start bleeding more. You're not fully healed from your accident." he said in a husky voice.
Charlie could feel his hot breath on her neck, making her shiver from the way he tried to be with her. "Y-you need to s-stop." she had never been so frightened in her life. After dealing with cranks the past few years, nothing was more horrifying than Cash trying to take her back.
"Keep quiet, and don't move."
Charlie didn't have to follow instructions, she was already paralyzed out of fright.
Cash loosened his grip on Ike of her wrists then pulled something from his pocket. "It'll pinch a bit, but I'm sure you won't remember that." At that, he stabbed a shot like pen into Charlie's neck, and she instantly dropped to the ground.
A hour or so later, Cash had put Charlie back in the bed, so that when she woke up, she would be comfortable. Finally, his plan was working, or at least, as long as the phases went through nicely.
In the shot Charlie was given, it held a sleep formula, that last for around 24 hours. This was so that Cash would be able to perform the procedures to fiddle with her memory on a chip that was inserted when she first came to WICKED.
He learned of this chip, while working in a lab one day. Though, he had one too, he decided to take out his, and insert the same memories so that the two could enjoy them together.
"Sorry I have to do this, Charlie, but it's for the best." he said as he took her chip and stuck it in the back of her neck.
The new technology in the past, had made it so that it wouldn't hurt, or mess up the human body. These, chips, would be placed on the back of your neck, and cover themselves with the society's version of skin. It was not eco friendly, making the world worse than it already was.
Of course, no one knew of this until they used it on most of the human race. They could only be taken out by a special tweezer like tool, but each chip had it's own, being taken out by the tool it came with.
Cash pushed his own chip into the back of his neck, which would in a matter of time, block out all memories, replacing them with new ones. He quickly got into the other side of the bed, lying on his back, and fell asleep.
But no one could actually start over with their memories, and have fake ones instead. There was just that one glitch in the system, that, if messed with, would have side effects. Those that have had these side effect, did not live long enough to share, or they didn't want to let anyone know about their experience.

"Can this thing not go any faster?" Delilah demanded from the backseat of the jeep. They were in the same seats as before except Newt was now driving and Minho was riding shotgun. It had been over 2 hours since Newt told where Charlie was, and in that time she hadn't calmed down one bit, in fact she had only gotten worse. She knew they had to get Charlie away from Cash as soon as they could, who knew what he had done to her in just the last couple of hours alone.
"I'm trying! I don't remember exactly how to get there." Delilah didn't have to see Newt's face to know he was getting really frustrated. She had been a little harsh on him, but she just wanted to see her friend safe.
"Newt, if you go any slower, you'll be run over by a turtle!" Minho complained.
Delilah rolled her eyes, "There aren't any turtles left." she muttered. "Now would you please-" she was cut off by a sudden stop. Newt had slammed on the breaks, jerking the jeep backwards.
"What the hell, shuck face!?" Minho screamed.
