Lyles POV.
I sat in the same position I had been in for the past few hours, my eyes losing focus as I looked over the mounds of notes. The music I had on my record player was beginning to repeat once again. I rolled my eyes before dropping my head, accidentally hitting it off the table as I groaned. I needed new music, the constant repeat was just starting to irritate me, making me lose focus. Yet again, that might be due to the tiredness from the lack of sleep. All of my dreams contained Pennywise, all of my daily thoughts contained him. He haunted me. Seeing him just made me want to know more. It didn't satisfy me.
I decided to go and get a new record. I changed out of my pyjamas into new underwear, tight grey jogging bottoms, a white vest top, black and grey vans on my feet. I grabbed my black baggy zip up hoodie as I walked out of the apartment. I stood at the door as I locked it, hearing a noise coming from the doorway which led to the stairwell. I walked along slowly as I looked through the glass panel in the door. A shadow seemed to glide down the wall as I watched it disappear. Maybe someone had gotten confused? I opened the door before walking down the first few steps, the lights flickering as I felt uneasy, causing me to run as quickly as I could.
I walked along the side of the apartments, reaching my car as I just realised I forgot my keys. I groaned before accepting I would need to walk. I crossed the road as I walked alongside the police station. I nodded at the chief as he said hello, being familiar with me due to my Dad and the fact I have lived here all of my life, and he has a few tattoos from me. I waited a moment before crossing the road and walking straight across the middle of the park, not having the effort to walk around it. I hit the branches which were above me as leaves fell, making me feel slightly more calm than I had been feeling. I ran the last bit of distance before hitting the parlour. I walked in, the key to the store being attached to my house keys. I ran to the lift as I took it to the middle floor, making sure Odette didn't notice me. She would be tattooing anyway.
I was let out at the back of the store. I looked at all of the records as I took a while to think of who I wanted to listen to for the next week or so before I change back to my old one. I ended up picking Ed Sheerans Divide. I walked to the till as Denis looked at me with a half smile before he began to laugh. "Rough night or morning?" he asked as I flipped him off before noticing my reflection in the black desk which had the till atop it. My hair was in a messy bun, my eyes had slight bags under them, I just looked a complete and utter mess. "How much are the vinyl's?" I asked as Denis looked at me with a semi shocked expression. "You don't need to pay, you own this store" he stated as I rolled me eyes before pulling out a twenty and ten note, placing it on the desk as I picked up the vinyl. "Just keep it as a tip"
I got the lift back down, as I walked out I heard Odettes footsteps as she approached. "Why are you here?" she asked as I lifted up the bag of my purchase as she nodded in understanding. "Do you mind staying for a moment? Someone come in requesting you to tattoo them, in fact, many people have. I have refused them all and explained you aren't working for a month but one is here on vacation and wants a tattoo as it is their fifth year of being cancer free. The girl really wants a traditional piece and I can't do it like you can. I will tattoo it on her because I couldn't refuse her but do you mind drawing it for me? Please? I could tattoo it but I can't draw it originally, not like you"
Ivys POV.
It was fifteen minutes before lunch time. I had decided to go a little earlier so I could get Denis' lunch and surprise him in the store. I walked down the road from the parlour as I reached the radio station. I kept walking until I reached our apartment which was at the end of that street. I ran in as I grabbed the box of cookies that I had made last night without Denis noticing, saving them as a surprise for today. After collecting them I crossed the road to the houses which faced us, a small lane at the side of them as I walked down it, seeing the chemist at the other side. I looked at my phone to check the time, I still had ten minutes. I looked up from my phone as I saw a man walking into the lane at the other side.
