Battle of Falling for Cameron Dallas

chapter 2

*Staci's POV*

"Could you walk any slower?!" Alyssa was yelling at me from her car.

"I can actually, would you like a demonstration?" I said while walking in slow motion. I could see Alyssa roll her eyes at me until I noticed her car was slowly rolling foward. "Damnit Alyssa." I muttered to myself as I ran up to her car, as I somehow managed to get into her car while it was rolling. "So why are leaving in such a hurry?"

"My mom threatened to ground me if I didn't get home to babysit right now." 

"Then I'll just go home and do homework or study."

"Staci, the world knows that your just going to go home, order a pizza, and watch movies."

"Well I'm pretty full, so no pizza today." I laughed. My phone started to buzz, an unknown number flashed across the screen. "Who's that?" Alyssa asked.

"Don't be nosey." I said before answering the phone. "Hello?"

A male's voice responded, "Hi, Uhm is this Staci? It's Cameron."

"Oh, hey, yeah its me." What a stupid answer of course its you. 

"I just wanted to make sure you didnt give me a fake number." He laughed, why is this conversation so awkward. "Well, nice talking to you today Staci, I'll let you go now, see you later." And with that Cameron hung up.

Alyssa was laughing to herself when i looked over to her. "What's so funny?"

"Who in the world could you be talking to, where you're that awkward?" by this time she was already pulling up to my house. I was hoping that i could make it out of the car before she expected my answer, yeah she was my best friend but I'm just not sure if I should tell her that I got Cameron Dallas' number.

"Hmm, somebody."

"Okay who? You're not getting out of not telling me, You know im good at bugging you."

"Alright fine, it was Cameron Dallas." and with that I ran out of her car amd into my home not wanting to share anymore with Alyssa. Once again nobody was home, it wasn't surprising that I would be alone. Both of my parents work until really late and leave before I wake up. My brother had gone off to college so i was pretty much living on my own. I threw my bag down on my bean bag, and changed into a light hoodie and yoga pants. I went downstairs to get a drink before starting my long movie night when i noticed a note on top of the kitchen counter. 

Staci, dinner is in the fridge. Me and your father are yoing out tonight, won't be back until tommorow.       -Mom

At least nobody will inturrupt me. I walked over to the fridge to get a bottle of water, opening it I saw a bag of panera. At least she knows the food that I like. i shut the fringe door and made my way back to my room. I shut out all light from my rooom and logged onto twitter. I was scrolling through my timeline until a tweet from Cameron caught my eye, it read I 'm glad I met you today. Could the tweet be about me? What if he met a few girls and I'm not special at all. He's well known he must have girls crawling after him all the time. I should just log off twitter and not even think about it.

Grabbing my phone out of my bag I was surprised to have a message waiting for me that wasn't from Alyssa. The message was from Cameron.

*Cameron's POV*

The guys bombarded me with questions as to why she hadn't responded yet. I'm sitting in my hotel room that Nash and I share. Nash is doing who knows what, but he hasn't been bugging me about Staci.

"Dude, Cameron, are you planning on meeting up with that girl again?" I was wrong, but at least it's just Nash.

"i want to but she hasn't- Oh just kidding," Staci had responded, why do i feel so awkward and nervous talking to her?

"What did you say to her in the first place?" Nash broke me out of my thoughts.

"I just said 'Hey' with a smiley face. "

"Alright, well im going to go down and get something to eat, wanna come?"

"Nah I'll just stay here" Hopefully I can see if Staci wants to meet up later.

S: Hi :)

C: Would you like to meet up or something tonight? I mean if you're not busy or anything :)

S: I would love to x)

C: Alright, I'll pick you up around 7?

Where am I going to take her, theres so many things to do in this city, and I only have 3 hours to prepare.
