Midoriya went to his room and fell onto his bed. "I can't believe it... I have a quirk... wait no two quirks." He begins smiling. "I can be a hero." He then gets ready to go to sleep in anticipation for his training with his father.
The next day comes and his father arrives at the house. "How are you today Izuku? I take it you slept well. If not this is going to be a rough day." His father smiles. "Your quirk will be pushed and hopefully the drawback isn't too bad for you."
"Speaking of what is the quirk you didn't mention what it does." Izuku said thinking that the drawback could be bad.
"Your quirk is a shockwave quirk to activate it it requires you to tense your body up and on realease you can release shockwaves from your hands. It gains more power the harder you tense up so I believe it will be a great quirk for you as you'll be able to regenerate any damage thats created." His father explained.
Midoriya smiled "So what's this training you're having me do?" Midoriya asks slightly tensing and releasing a small air pressure knocking loose objects off a nearby table.
"I see your a natural at it." His father laughs as he releases a small bit of flame from his mouth. "Well follow me to the beach nearby."
They arrive at the beach and his father begins "What you'll be doing is using your quirk full power enough to damage yourself to clear the beach and after every shot you'll focus on healing then when you're healed you let loose another one. And so on and so forth until the beach is cleared. And I'll be here when needed."
Midoriya begins charging and begins to feel a strong pain in his arms. He releases the energy stored within himself and destroys the area of the beach he was aiming at. "Arghhhhhh" Midoriya screams in pain.
"Focus Izuku the blast should be much more powerful." His father said realizing his sons pain. "Izuku are you okay. Focus it should feel like a cold sensation in your spine it'll help heal faster."
Midoriya tries to listen to his father. "I'm trying to." He feels the sensation and begins to heal the pain. "It itches dad."
"That's good. It means it is working. Keep on doing that. You'll master your quirks so quickly if this is your speed of learning." His father says excitedly.
A month later
It has been a rough month, in this time Midoriya has seemingly mastered his quirks basic concepts and is now able to regenerate without thoughts. And is now able to focus his shockwaves for precision. "I'm proud of you son." His father says to Midoriya who is now as toned as when he cleared it with All-Might.
"I'm happy you taught me this dad." Izuku says as he feels the scars on his body from all the damage he couldn't quite heal before mastering his quirk.
"So son what do you plan to do now." His Father asks.
"I still plan on being a hero." Izuku says. His father's face drops. "Izuku you know if you be a hero we may have to fight one day."
"I know." Izuku looks down. "But you could be a hero too." Izuku looks hopeful towards his dad.
"I'm sorry but I can't switch sides but you... you could switch sides. Though I'll let you pursue your dreams for now." His dad leaves in a puff of flame.
"Dad.... I'm sorry." Izuku leaves as he remembers that the entrance exam to U.A is tomorrow.
