Two weeks have passed by effortlessly after Yuki's failed attempt to assassinate Kenshin. All of her intentions to kill the red head have disappeared in an instant, as if nothing at all had happened.
Yuki's innocent mind could not quite process the fact that she wanted to kill him, even after discovering that it was Kenshin who took her father away, she did not feel the rage she thought she would feel.
Yuki thought that the Battousai would remain a cold-hearted killer in this very day, but seeing Kenshin - Such a soft, helpful and kind human being, she would have never came to the conclusion that it was him.
Yuki pondered daily about the red head; How much of a humble man he was, how caring and kind.
'Is it even possible to find a man of such great traits?' Yuki mentally asked herself, the thought causing her to sign dreamily.
It was official - Yuki has fallen in love with the red headed Wanderer.
True, she has carelessly confessed an unsure confession to the red head on the day she failed to murder him. However, as the two bonded during the weeks, she felt her minor crush grow into something affectionate.
With having Jiro and Tadashi living with her in the same household, not to mention both younger than her, she never felt this way towards a man - Despite being shy towards these sorts of matters.
She wanted to tell Kenshin everything - What she formally was, how she received her 'Title', who her father was and how much he meant to her ----. Everything.
And that was exactly what she was about to do, this very moment.
"Kenshin!" Yuki exclaimed from a distance as she exited the household, seeing as Kenshin was hanging multiple pieces of clothing on the clothesline.
The red head averted his gaze towards her, his soft amethyst eyes meeting her brown ones.
"Yuki-Dono! What a pleasant surprise, that it is!" He exclaimed gleefully. The brunette adjusted the collar of her turquoise coloured Kimono, "G-Good to see you as well!" She unintentionally stammered.
Kenshin chuckled, "This one has learned many of your tips on household-"
"I'm the last Heir to the Yoshida Clan!" She blurted out shamelessly.
Kenshin stopped mid-way as his lips formed a straight line, "Oro? Come again?"
The dark haired female sighed, "Before my father died, he wrote me a letter saying that I was the only member of the family who could protect our name." She explained.
"It was a known fact that when I got older, I had to learn the Samurai ways and assassinate the person who would bring death upon my father." Yuki shakily sighed, appearing as if she were about to break down.
"After losing both my mother and father, I was determined to bring death upon the Battousai and end his life once and for all. The man who trained me when I was 14 was named Shinji Isoya, a man whom I look up to greatly." She told him.
"After 3 years of training, he left me and wished me the best of luck and offered me his great condolences, despite being my father's right-hand-man in the revolution."
