Chapter Four: Can't

Lara's POV

We arrived at the party and Grayson led us in, me and him were next to each other and Ethan and Lizz were walking in behind us. I turned around to see them and saw them laughing and both of them blushing. "They really like each other don't they?" I asked Grayson while smiling at Eth and Liz "Yea they really do. I'm happy for them and I hope they can become a thing" Grayson replied smiling with his beautiful angel made smile. "Hey can I ask you something that is probably awkward and weird?" I asked Grayson nervously looking down "Of course don't worry it can't be that bad" He said lifting my head with his thumb looking me in the eyes. "U-Uhm how are your teeth so perfect?" He still had his thumb on my chin and was staring me in the eyes with his beautiful hazel eyes and started grinning and choked a little before he started to speak. "Uhm Honestly I don't know me and Eth were born with good teeth but you also have great teeth yourself and a beautiful smile" I Started to blush and looked down again. Gray grabbed my hand and lifted my chin with his thumb again "Don't look away you are beautiful when you blush" Gray said staring from my eyes then to my lips. My heart was pounding and I couldn't help it. This boy does something to me and it is something I have never felt before and I loved it he makes my heart rush and my cheeks flush I can't control myself around him even though I just met him I feel like I have known him forever and I feel so safe around him and he takes everything wrong with me and makes me forget. I was cut off of my thought when I realized gray was moving in then all of the sudden a tear fell from my face and Grayson saw it, I pulled away and ran "Lara Wait!" Gray yelled to me " please stop!" Gray was panting to get out as he was chasing me.

Grayson's POV

 "WHAT DID YOU DO?!!" Lizz yelled at me with her eyebrows raised furiously " I didn't do anything I was about to kiss her and then she teared up and ran" I said trying to explain " Oh no not again" Lizz said with her head in her palms. "W-What is it?" I asked nervously " I don't think she wants me to tell you she should tell you herself when she is ready..I really have to go" Lizz replied starting to head back to Lara's house "wait can we at least give you a ride so I can see her?"  I asked hoping she would say yes " I don't think she wants to see you right now" as she said those words my heart stopped and I felt like I had done something horrible but what? I was contemplating everything I could have done but nothing made sense.
