I sit on my knees behind him. He's been throwing up for an hour and I'm starting to get the impression that it's not just hangover. He's so pale and he's all cold and the poor thing, I gave him the cold shoulder last night and I'm still really mad at him for coming home with Leah and trying to bring me outside but he's my husband and I'm gonna help him when he needs me. "You feeling any better?" As his response starts he's cut off by more vomit which worries me. "I think I'm gonna call an ambulance baby, I'm gonna ask if it's worth calling for I just don't want you hurt," I flick the light on and he winded but his vomit doesn't stop and it's starting to affect his breathing. He leans so far forward it shoots out of his nose.

"Nine one one, fire, police or medical assistance?" The dispatcher questions.

"Medical assistance?" I question back. "My husbands been throwing up for about an hour straight and it's getting really bad he's having problems breathing and I just wanna make sure he'll be ok?" She doesn't sound very impressed but agrees to send over an ambulance.

"Should be there shortly, please step away from your husband to answer the door to the paramedics or we'll be forced to brake it down which could be dangerous for you and your family." I roll my eyes a little running down to quickly unlock that door at their knock. I lead them into our room and the our bathroom where he clutches the toilet I've flushed several times already.

"Do you have any bowls buckets garbage bins we could use for him while we bring him down?" They look around pulling his clothes off and checking temperatures along with his heartbeat I suppose. "Irregular," the one checking his heart calls.

"I think we might have a bucket somewhere in the kitchen?" I shrug running my hands over Shawn's shoulder.

"Will you come with me and find it ma'am, every second counts." I nod quickly and worriedly grabbing the first thing I see which is the mop bucket. I'll buy a new one, it's the first thought through my mind, I couldn't but a new husband. "We're going to bring him down to the ambulance and we'll let you know what we find." He nods slowly guiding me through everything while they force his head to the bucket in the place of our toilet which is flushed again. A wail pierces through everyone's ears even braking the steady sound of Shawn's dry heaves.

"Alessandro," I whine lifting the wailing child but he awoke Aoife so while he's quickly back asleep in at her crib quickly skipping out of the room so the babies don't wake up. She wears nothing but her diaper although I did manage to grab her blanket which I put over her so she could be warm while we exit the house to the ambulance awaiting us. The door gets shut and locked just as it was when the paramedics entered.

"They're just gonna draw some blood for when we get to the hospital," he explains and my eyes go wide.

"Hospital? They said it was no big deal." Aoife whines some more, she's nothing but awake now and without milk she will not sleep until tonight. I use her blanket to cover myself and her while I feed her softly.

"It could potentially be very serious and we want to take all precautions into consideration." I nod slowly grabbing my phone and putting the house into lock down before texting Mercy who will be up soon anyways. She's always awake at four she likes going for thirty minute runs and then when she gets home she does four hundred squats because she wants my butt. I might be tiny but I have everything any man could want.

"Will he be alright?"

I sit brushing Aoife's hair out of her face. She has a lot of it and she's had a ton since birth. She likes it though, she likes to get it done in the mornings. Some days I do French braids in her hair and she loves it. "It's good to see you out of the house for once." One of his nurses smiles and I nod. "I mean it's for all of the wrong reasons but it's nice." She sits next to me for a minute. "Awe look at the little princess." She smiles touching her hair making her giggle. She loves attention and she loves when people notice her hair.

"Yeah, just like her daddy this one, she's also very needy." I chuckle kissing her forehead. She whines a little letting out a babyish cry before she buries herself in my chest. She's not openly to New people so I fear for her in school. "She makes all of her brothers do everything for her, don't you?" I run my hands over her bare back. I know she's whiny because she's got a full diaper that I can't change and we have to sit here and we've had to sit here for hours but I make no comment.

"Come on, I'll get her something to wear and maybe a new diaper, a cute little hat." She chuckles and I shake my head.

"She whines a lot more than she should." I chuckle kissing her cheek. "But she's fine I assure you," rolling her eyes she leads me to the maternity section.

"Shawn's gonna be in the next ward, if anything I did you a favour," she laughs a little looking through the stash of girls clothes while I quickly change her diaper. "How about this?" She shows me the little outfit. A dress that I know she'll adore and a matching cardigan along with a hat.

"What do you think princess?" I smile lifting her to she can see it. Her excitement is reassuring and while I change her she pops out to go check on Shawn. "Lets go find daddy," I blow against her cheek. "Lets go find daddy." I smile tossing her up gently assuring I have her blanket in my hands as we leave knowing she'd kill me for not having it. "Shawn Mendes?" I smile at the receptionist.

"He's got a few visitors," she smiles looking at a sad Aoife who can't find her daddy anywhere. "But I'll make an exception." She smiles leading us to his room.

"Thank you so much," I smile watching as Aoife gets excited to see the man she's only knows a few days. She likes that he gives her nicknames, that's the same reason why Mercy liked him.

"Daddy!" Aoife squeals but my eyes go wide.

"No baby girl I think we're interrupting something."
