There once was a war in a city called kaman lots of people lost there lives. leaving children orphans and families broken. All the children where in a hospital they where badly injured and wondered. Wonder was one of the children that got shot. And this is where her story begins. She laid in her hospital bed alone and bored there was no window just big loud air vents. Taking a big breath she sat up and said I sure do wish I had a friend. Then she heard running and nurses yelling! She wanted to know what was all the ruckus was about but her door was locked so she waited till dusk. As all the children feel asleep Wonder was wide-eyed she keeps hearing a cry like moan going more curious she quickly grabbed a safety pin from under her pillow unlocking the vent she crawled through to the other side finding a boy his face was covered with bandages even though she couldn't see his face she knew he was crying. she could feel the sadness in the room she asked why are you crying? The boy answered I'm not crying! Why are you in here it's not time to change my bandages yet! Wonder said well I'm not a nurse silly I'm your neighbor! The boy said really? I didn't know you could have neighbors in hospitals. Well I kinda made that up but yep i better get back to my room it was very nice to meet you bye for now. As she went back to her room she felt sorry for the boy she knew he was lonely as she was so she made a note to herself that she would visit him again but this time with a gift. As she fell asleep she woke up to screaming it was the boy she knew what it was right away there changing his bandages. The boy wasn't at breakfast or lunch she decided to hide a cupcake under her dress. As the nurses turn the lights off Wonder was on here way to the boys room. she fell out of the air vent he laughed and said are you alright she quickly sat up and dusted her dress of yes I'm quite alright Wonder said. I did have a cupcake for you but I squished it that's ok he said what's your name Wonder said.
my name is North what's your name he asked? She said Wonder! and your name is quite lovely. North said thank you! Your name is a little odd but that's ok. odd! No it's not Wonder said. Ok ok I'm sorry. North said ok well I got to go so bye I'll see you tomorrow! Ok he said. The next day she was at the lunch table she was thinking about what happened last night. As she went to though her trash away she heard the nurses talking about North one of the nurses said to go strap him down. Wonder thought to her self why would they be strapping him down. Then a 3 hours later there was screaming. Then She sadly knew what they were doing. When she went to visit him it was like looking at a stranger she thought he was adorable. She asked him if he was ok? he looked it's her! He though yes I'm fine. He said you look so much better! She said thank you I feel better as well he said that's great will I see you at lunch now? With a sigh he said no Awwww why not? She said I don't want to talk about it. He said oh ok I understand. She said can I ask you something do you have any friends? He asked yes I'm talking to him right now. She answered I'm your friend really! He said. of course silly why do you think I keep coming to see you she said. Well if you feel like it maybe we can sneak out some times! She said. Sure he said.
