8* Forgiveness is a Virtue - Part 2

Recap:

I leant back in my chair and let my head tip back to look at the panelled ceiling and sighed. I had to make sure than no one hurt Ro otherwise I wouldn't ever be able to live with myself knowing that all of this happened because of me.

I quickly grabbed my coat off my chair and my office keys and rushed downstairs. As I started my car, I felt a sense of strong determination and knew what I had to do before doing anything else.

Next stop - Ro's house.

Obviously driving to a girl's house to tell her something had never been a problem for a guy like myself but driving to the person I had wronged the most in my life to tell her that I was as sorry as I could be even though my SORRYs would never be enough. 

I was drenched in sweat due to the anxiety that was bubbling in my stomach and right now I felt like a teenage girl who was about to be kissed for the first time. I parked my car under her building and got out wearing my coat and rushing to the lift. 

I rang her doorbell and waited for her to open it, fiddling with my tie as the door suddenly opened to reveal my worst enemy at the moment - Alexander Stone. 

"And you are.........?" He asked me with a bored expression on his face.

"None of your business and I'm here to see Rosella so kindly move out of my way." I grit my teeth and pushed him aside as I walked into the house.

I felt something collide with my legs as I looked down to see Adrian clinging to my legs with the brightest smile on his face. "HayD! You came!!! Mommy look who came to see me! HayD came! Come in HayD! look what I'm watching on TV."

I smiled and picked him up in my arms. My son was adorable. I loved him so much in such a short time that I thought I would literally die if something happened to him.

"What are you watching kiddo?" 

"I'll give you a hint - who makes the best Crabby Pattys in the world?"

"Hmmmm....let me think. Oh no! I don't know!" I faked not knowing what he was talking about. He laughed and knocked on my head and said "Stupid HayD! Spongebob Squarepants of course!" 

I was going to reply back to him when I heard a throat clearing and looked to see Alexander standing there with a prominent frown on his face.

"If you are done then leave us alone. Me and Ro have work to do, if you know what I mean." he said smirking evilly at me.

"Who is it Alex?" Ro came out from her room and froze as soon as she saw me. Her face hardened and she came towards me and said "What are you here for Hayden?"

I tried to let Adrian go but he clung to me so I looked at her and said "I came here to talk to you."

Before Ro could say anything Alexander put his arm around her waist and said "Well as you can see we are very busy so this talk can happen tomorrow right Ro?"

My eyes zeroed in on his arm around her waist and I literally controlled myself from going ahead and ripping out his arm for even touching her. 

"No it can't wait. I need to talk to her and its urgent so you need to leave."

"Whyyyy?" Check out the audacity of the guy...unbelievable.

"Cause I want to talk to her ALONE!" I stressed on alone as he frowned at me and as about tot say something when Ro silenced him by turning his face towards her and saying "Please just give us a few minutes. I'll be back soon okay?"
