Lyles POV.

I walked along the sewer after climbing down a rope into the well. After at least ten minutes of walking along different tunnels I finally reached the largest and most significant area. I walked along as I noticed the large pile of bodies, some floating in the air as I realised it was all just like my Father had told me. I looked around a little more before I noticed Pennywise poking his head out of the tunnel which had led me here. "What are you doing?" his voice boomed as I got a little bit of a fright, not expecting him to have yelled like that. "I had to get answers for myself" I snapped as he ran over to me. He towered over me as I gulped looking up at him. "I smelt fear earlier" he said with a smile as I shrugged. "It was from you" he hissed as he leaned in closer as I felt so intimidated. "Have you figured out the riddle yet, Lyle. It has been a few days" he growled as he talked as I instantly felt fear shoot down my spine. "No" I answered weakly. Before I could do or say anything he grabbed my throat and picked me up effortlessly. "You should have figured it out quicker. I hope you float to the top" as soon as he finished what he was saying he opened his mouth wider and wider until all I could see was a bright light, after that I felt as light as air before it all went black.

"AAAH!" I screamed as I sat up, my heart racing, breathing rapidly, and sweat covering my body. "LYLE! WHAT IS GOING ON?!" Odette screamed as she walked into the room. I looked at her as I tried to control my heart race but there was no stopping it. For a moment I thought I was dead. I thought Pennywise had killed me. I looked at Odette as she sat at the bottom of my bed watching me cautiously. "I heard you screaming from my room. We have two halls and our lounge between us. What was going on?" she asked as I realised I must also have been screaming during my dream, well, nightmare.

"I-it was just a b-b-bad dream" I stuttered as she looked at me with concern before reaching an arm out as I fell into her and gave her a hug. She wrapped her other arm around me as she muttered "I thought something had happened to you too. I was so scared. I don't think I could cope. You saved us yesterday, if you weren't there we would have died. I can't live without you, not again" she rubbed my back as I hugged her tighter than I was before. I felt so bad. I felt so guilty. I was lying to her. I know who is doing this to them and I just had a nightmare about him killing me because of this riddle haunting me. The riddle... I need to solve it.

After getting changed into my typical lazy clothing, since I couldn't wear boxers and a sports bra all day, I sat on the sofa. I had to act calm all morning and afternoon since it was a Sunday which means Odette wasn't working. She was keeping an eye on me and trying to get me to focus on other things than the "bad dream" but really I was just thinking about the twenty two lined riddle that a monster who rises every 27 years told me so I could figure out more about him, something I have been trying to do since I was in my teens. No biggy.

At around five at night I looked at Odette as she seemed to be falling asleep. "Go to your bed" I suggested to her but partly ordered as she opened her eyes widely due to the fright of me talking. "I-I don't want to" she tried to argue as I stood up and held my hand out to her. "Come on, I will drag you if I have to" I partly joked as she laughed before holding out her hand which I grabbed to pull her off of the sofa as she began to walk to her bed. "If you need me just shout on me or run through to wake me up!" she called out as I simply replied "Yep." but I wasn't going to need her, not unless she was a master in cracking riddles.

"Buildings burn, It's Derrys Turn." This could link to lots of things. The blackspot was burnt down years ago. My fathers old friend, Mike, his parents died in a fire along with many more people. Maybe it means that he is going to set another fire. It maybe it is nothing to do with an actual fire and buildings burning, maybe it is just meaning that there is going to be mass devastation... I wrote it all down quickly as I came to my conclusion that this is all that this small section of the riddle could mean. Next part.
