Bella:

She begins to laugh as does the crowd surrounding us. I could feel my face burn with anger and embarrassment. I immediately felt disgusted and wanted nothing more than to go home. I was abandoned by the girls who dragged me here and was ultimately humiliated.

"I'm going to f*cking kill you. You stupid bitch!" A familiar voice comes up from behind me. She pushes me behind her, shielding me from Cassidy. I sigh at Eve's antics and shake my head in disappointment. I was disappointed in her and in Adelaide.

I could feel angry tears building up and threatening to spill. I hated her for embarrassing me like that in front of practically the whole senior class. A large hand grasps my upper arm and begins to pull me away from the crowd and up the stairs.

My vision begins to blur as a few tears escape and I nearly trip. He reacted quickly and wrapped his arm around my waist, taking on most of my weight. I hated crying, especially in front of people.

He pulls me into a room, similar to the one that Adelaide was resting in and closes the door behind us.

"Bella, why are you crying?" Strikers usual sharp tone was soft and almost caring. I look up at his green eyes and try to read the emotion hidden in them, but as always they were guarded and closed off.

"I feel gross and I want to go home." I whimper out stupidly. I felt like a child who had just been pushed down on the play ground, small and weak. He nodded his head and pulls me over to the closet.

"Nick said that sometimes girls leave their dresses here on accident and that we might be able to find something for you here." Striker explains pulling the closet door open and sifting through the random pieces of articles. There were costumes, dresses, pajamas, and just normal street wear. Weird. Why did he have all of this stuff?

"What size is your dress?" He ask peering over his shoulder at me. I shrug not really knowing seeing as though Eve insisted on dressing me earlier. He rolls his eyes and I couldn't help but feel more down. He was trying to help me and I was being nothing but an annoying baby.

"The tag should be just beside the zipper," I whisper out and turn so my back is towards him. He walks over to me wordlessly and unzips my dress slightly to look at the tag.

"Size two." He doesn't bother to zip up the dress and returns to the closet before pulling out a red dress that looked extremely similar to the one I'm wearing. Red. The color that Cassidy specifically told people they couldn't wear unless they were on the cheerleading team.

"Here," He hands me the dress and leads me over to the bathroom. "Clean yourself up and please no more crying." He looks me straight in the eyes and I couldn't help but fidget under his gaze. Why must he be so intense?

"Why are you helping me?" I ask stupidly. Good going Bella. I wanted to face palm or possible bang my head against the wall. I don't know how I could go from being upset that my friends abandoned me to questioning why one of them would want to help me.
