Chapter 27: He's cheating?

The next day

Vilu: (On the phone) Hey Fran, what's up?

Fran: VIOLETTA TELL ME WHAT TO DO! I'M FREAKING OUT!

Vilu: What?! Calm down, what happened?

Fran: I THINK DIEGO KNOWS I'M PREGNANT.

Vilu: Isn't that good thing?

Fran: UHM, no it isn't. I'm not ready to tell him yet.

Vilu: You know you're gonna eventually have to tell him right?

Fran: I know...

Vilu: Fran, listen to me. You have to tell him as soon as possible. I remember when I was pregnant with Mason the second time, I didn't tell Leon about it at first. He found out from Andre because he accidentally told him. Leon got so mad at me he didn't even wanna talk to me for the whole day. Do you want that to happen to you?

Fran: No... That's an awful way to find out.

Vilu: Exactly, so tell him soon before he finds out from somebody else.

Fran: But nobody else knows about this.

Vilu: He'll find out eventually. How long can you even cover up your stomach anyway? How many months are you at?

Fran: 5.

Vilu: At 5 your baby is already developing inside and your stomach is preparing to get bigger. Trust me Fran, tell Diego that you're pregnant before it's too late.

Diego: What?!

Fran: (Turned around shockingly)

Diego: Y-you're PREGNANT?!

Fran: (Nervous) Uh....

Vilu: Fran? Fran, what happened?

Diego: How long have you known you were pregnant?!

Fran: Violetta, I'll call you back...

Vilu: Huh?! Why?! What-

Fran: (Ended the call)

Leon: (Came) Morning.

Vilu: (Touched her head) Oh my god.

Leon: Why?! What happened?

Vilu: I can't believe this.

Leon: What is it Vilu? What's wrong?

Vilu: I was talking to Fran about her pregnancy and telling her how she should tell Diego about it before it's too late and I think he heard everything. Fran ended the call suddenly.

Leon: Ohh, that's bad.

Vilu: This is all my fault.

Leon: He was going to find out eventually don't you think? Fran can't keep hiding from him forever. He was gonna find out. He kept calling me you know.

Vilu: He did?

Leon: Yeah, he kept on saying something about Fran acting weirdly these days and things like that. Of course I couldn't tell him the truth you know.

Vilu: (Held her head) Ohh I feel so bad. If they fight, it's going to be my fault. Fran is gonna hate me.

Leon: Relax Vilu, it's not your fault okay. Fran will understand. She's not going to hate you. I promise.

Vilu: Remember how angry you were when you had to find out from Andre that I was pregnant with Mason?

Leon: Yeah, but I won't let that happen again.

Vilu: And why is that?

Leon: I know your moods and eating habits when you're pregnant. (Smiled)

Vilu: Are you serious?

Leon: I took care of you for 9 months Vilu. You cannot hide it from me now. If you try to again, I'll find out.

Vilu: (Smiled) You sure?! Wanna bet?

Leon: Why not?!

Vilu: Okay, let me see if I can understand. So... We're going to-

Leon: No, we're not going to just to prove a point.

Vilu: And if it happens?

Leon: If it happens then it happens.

Vilu: You won't mind would you?

Leon: (Shrugged) I don't think I would. I mean, I do love you. (Smiled)

Vilu: (Smiled) Awww, that's so sweet.

Leon: So you heading out?

Vilu: Yeah, I gotta send Mason to school.

Leon: Alright then, I have to head out too. I have to go see Onika. Remember yesterday?

Vilu: Oh, yeah oh my goodness I just remembered. I lied to sophia about me being Roxy. Do you think she'll tell Onika?

Leon: Nah, I doubt that. Besides, she probably won't even care.

Vilu: Plus, did you see Sophia yesterday? The way she was looking at Roxy? It's like she was suspicious of her. I think she became even more suspicious when Mason called her "Mummy"

Leon: Yeah, but that's because it was you. Mason didn't know. You can't blame him.

Vilu: I told him that I was roxy.

Leon: Maybe he was just hungry he couldn't think straight. Anyways you have to do something about Roxy tho. Both Lucy and Sophia now thinks that "Roxy" is a real person.

Vilu: I feel like I want to tell Sophia but at the same time I don't want to.

Leon: Why not?

Vilu: Because I wanna spy on her. I know she likes you and this is my opportunity to set things straight with her.

Leon: Violetta, there really is no need for all of this. It's really going to just make things worst.

Vilu: I'm going to do whatever it takes to protect our relationship.

Leon: You really call this protecting?

Vilu: YES.

Leon: Alight then. Your choice. Well, I'm just gonna grab a drink. I'll be back. (Got up)

Right after Leon got up from the sofa to grab a drink, Violetta noticed Leon's phone lit up. It was a messege. At first she was hesitant to see it but curiosity got the better of her. She carefully picked it up and read the messege on the lock screen.

"I love you too"
