I came home early from school. As always, I got tired and went straight to bed. Not having a care in the world as I plopped my head on the pillows. I shifted around and about, trying to find a spot where I won't have to be shuffling in my sleep.

As soon as I found my comfort spot. I drifted off to sleep.

It was finally 5:30 p.m. I got up, slowly stumbling on my feet as I tried walking down the stairs. I took my phone out and right away I received a message from Ryder.

Hurry up. Red Alert. 6:00. No whining.

I grunted when I saw the time. I don't know how but it's already 5:40. I quickly ran back up changed into all black and put make-up on, running out the door.

Ryder is that type of partner that wants me to be there exactly at the time she asks so I don't want to be late for this, she'll get feisty.

I've been on hiatus for more than a week so if I don't show up, I get banned from the job and I don't earn my money.

"Hey Stacie!" I practically screamed, waving at my manager.

Stacie smiled, "Hi Maddi, come on in," She directed me towards the door.

Once I entered, Ryder looked towards me, creasing her eyebrows, and rubbing her thumbs together.

"Sit down," Boss instructed me.

I nodded and sat by Ryder who was still giving me an awful stare.

The boss sighed, "Today's mission, is to rob a bank. Fail and you get executed, it's really simple. It's on 94th street, on your right you'll spot a liquor store. It should be nearing the end of the street and the words on the sign should be embossed in gold plated words. The bank is called, Aikalmari. Don't forget or you're dead."

I shook with fear. The boss never plays around, especially when it comes to a bank. I looked towards Ryder who was already nodding her head in comprehension. The boss smiled and looked towards me.

"Madison are you ready?" Boss said, looking intensely at me.

I coughed, "Yes, sir."

Boss nodded and smiled, excusing us to start our mission.

"This shit is crazy!" Ryder exclaimed, putting her head in her hands.

"I know and this is a life or death mission. We can't mess up on this or we'll die," I gasped at the thought of dying.

"We better get going," Ryder instructed, leaving her stuff on the floor and standing on her feet.

Her heels clicked on the pavement as we walked down the street that Boss told us about. My nerves were starting and I was sweating like a muddy pig.

At this moment, sticks and stones aren't going to break my bones, Boss is.

We passed the liquor store which made me more nervous. A cop was visible just down the street, protecting the area from nearby invaders. In this case, the invaders were us.

"Lipgloss," Ryder said, using one of our code words.

I sighed, this isn't the first time I have to do this.

"Hello sir!" I politely waved at the cop in front of me.

He tipped his hat and continued to look far beyond.

"You see, i'm a little tired. My car broke down, do you mind giving me a ride?" I looked towards Ryder and twitched my head to the entrance, signaling her to enter.

"I don't have time miss. If I leave this building something may happen," The cop said, his face expressing nothing but seriousness.

I went on farther, wrapping my leg around his, "But you see Mr. I wasn't asking just for a ride," I licked my lips and stared into his eyes, "I need something extra."

He but his lip and hastily took my hand, running towards his car.

Once we entered he took off his hat and crawled on top of me, "You sure you wanna do this beautiful?" He asked, smirking.

I took this as a chance to dig in my back pocket for my tazer, I leaned in close to his ear, "Nope."

With one click he was gone. I pushed his body off of mine and ran to the building, I didn't want anybody suspecting something odd going on.

Ryder already had two guns pointed at whoever dared to come near her. She took a quick glance over to me and whispered, "18026. Get the money."

I started walking over to the lock full of saved cash until I heard the door open once again.

"Everybody get down- wait, oh." A boy said, who was about the same age as us.

I stomped my feet in frustration, "Get out this is our mission!" I shouted, twisting the lock around and throwing money in the black carrier.

The black-haired boy ran towards me and clasped my hand, "We were ordered first." He pointed the gun to my head.

I laughed, "You act like i'm scared of guns. I act more of a man than you, Calum."

His eyes widened, "How do you know my name?"

"I'm a criminal, every criminal knows a criminal." I rolled my eyes and put my hand on his gun.

Sirens were heard outside and in an instant, police were surrounding the entrance.

Ryder looked at me, Calum looked at her, and I looked upwards.

I used the signal for team-up and it took a second before everyone started shooting everywhere.

"Bomb them!" Luke shouted, looking over to Michael.

Michael pulled out a grenade and threw it towards them, "Run out the other way!"

"Go! Go! Go!" Calum ordered, helping everyone out the back door.

A black truck waited outside, and Ashton pulled the window down, "Did you get the money?" He questioned, we all shook our heads getting in the car before the building blew up into pieces.

"Hurry Ashton! We don't have time! SWAT is already on its way," Calum confessed and Ashton stepped on the pedal.

Ryder sadly looked at me, "We failed."
