Just the thoughts that slip into my head.
Enjoy.

Though all the doors and windows are closed, I still managed to get a nice cool breeze from the winter air brushing against my leg. With the lights all hung up and the tall plastic christmas tree in the corner, decorated in verious amounts of colors and shimmers, the slow jazz quietly humming throughout the café, it felt nice to be working for once. It felt so beautiful and just in the moment, I would never want to change it.
The café wasn't too busy today, not as usual, must be becuase of how much its snowing outside, most people rather be home watching movies and making their own powdered hot chocolate you can buy in a box nowadays.
It was silent other than the soft music and I couldn't picture it to be anymore perfect. Its as if all my problems have seem to wash away.
"Ariana you're more than welcomed to clock out early! Go home and get some rest" My friend and boss, Melany , said with a warm smile, coming up to me with a box of paper cups. I grabbed a pack of the cups and helped her place them were they need to be.
"Maybe, but I have nothing better else to do" I said giving her a smile, "besides I enjoy it here"
Unexpected to us, the door jiggled, letting us know we got a customer. i looked up along with Melany and we saw the regular costumer, Harry, come in with his sun glasses on as usual, his cheeks pink from the cold and his hair in his messy curls.
"Hey Harry how are you" Melany said stepping out from the counter and giving him a hug.
"Not to bad, yourself?" he said embracing her back.
"Well look who it is, haven't seen you in awhile. " I said giving him a smile and beginning to prepare his order which I know way to well.
"Same here Ari" he said walking up to the other side of me and leaning against the counter. Although I couldn't see his eyes, I can tell he was watching my every move. His curly hair drapped around his face, carving it perfectly, and his brown jacket fitting him so well, I couldn't stop myself from getting a few glipse of the sight and realizing I wasn't the only one looking.
Harrys a regular. He comes in every few months or days, no one really knows when, but he became very close with Melany and though we never learned his last name or seen his eyes, we still considered him like family, and also very attractive.
I continued to make his order while he conversated with Melany.
"I'll be right back, I need to get more coffee grounds" she said giving us both a smile and walking to the back with the box of cups along with her.
"So hows your holiday been" I said starting up conversation.
"It's been quit eventfull, it is very beautiful this year so im trying to stay as long as I can" he said picking at a straw he took. He was so mysterious. He always will talk about how he can't stay here for long and not one of us who work here understood why, it's not like we haven't asked him, we have, but he comes up with an excuse that seems to be the same every year, "what about you? hows your car? "
"Still shitty as usual" I said placing whip cream on all five drinks, "im hoping it last me till new years, by then I should have enough to get a new car"
And thats one of the problems I like to forget when I am working.
"If you need me to check it out I will" he said taking the coffee I made for him from my hands.
