"Not until we are lost do we begin to find ourselves." -Henry David Thoreau (I think)-----

Maddie sat up, grass around her gently swayed in the wind as she looked around her. She started to panic, she was alone and only remembered her name and age. She calmed down after a bit. She looked at herself, small scratches and cuts covered her where her long sleeved shirt had been torn. Maddie stood up, a slight imprint of her small body was in the long grass. She wondered how long she had been there, she brushed basically nothing off of herself before starting to walk. She walked forward for nearly an hour before coming across a village, it was small. A guard with pastel purple to pink colored hair stood in front of a gate attached to cracked fences that went around the village.

The guard noticed Maddie, she looked at the cuts on her arms and legs and without question she stepped aside letting her pass though which Maddie quickly did. "Wow...." She thought, the village looked pretty nice. Small houses lined up in rows could be seen along with a patio lined with shops and fairy lights strung up above them, lighting up the place at night. "This place is prettier than I expect-" She was cut off when a girl with blond hair, who looked like some sort of elf approached her "I'm guessing your new here!" She smiled "Uh, yeah I am!" Maddie quickly replied, she didn't seem to notice the cuts on her but so that it would stay that way she walked away after a quick goodbye.
