"Why do you have to go?" I cry in the car walking to my last car ride with Daniel.
"Chey, I promise I'll never forget you!" he smiles looking at me.
"Promise?" I ask. "Promise." he reassures.
"If you forget me, you're going to be missing out!" I laugh, I said this to mess around with him.
"I won't be missing anything.." Daniel laughs.
We arrive at the airport, I grab his hand. Man, I'm going to miss this boy.
He looks at me and grabs my hand tighter. He does all the airport stuff he needs to do. His flight will be boarding soon. We take a seat in the waiting area. We sit there holding hands in silence.
*Portland To L.A. Flight is now Boarding!*
As soon as I heard that my heart broke. I may like him more than a friend, I don't know! The second we get up, I start crying my eyes out. I feel like I'm crying more than his family is. He'll never forget his family, but, can he forget me?
"Chey, I love you, you will always be my best friend. Nothing less, nothing more. I'll miss you with all my heart." he says hugging me. I hug back. We stay like that for about 30 seconds.
He kisses my forehead, before leaving. I know that meant nothing, but I wish it did. "I LOVE YOU DANIEL!," I scream before he leaves. I finally let it out. But, what breaks my heart is,
He didn't say it back.
