FLASHBACK
"Juliet, you gotta get up." Melanie groans while tugging on my arm.
"What's the point?" I moan.
"There is a child in your stomach. You have to get some sun. You haven't been out of that bed since Louis left last week." Mel tells me.
"This pillow smells like him." I dig my head into his pillow.
"Come on!" Melanie whines. "We are at summer camp, you're supposed to be having fun!"
"How can I have fun when the love of my life is gone?" I ask.
"Please. If you come out and get breakfast with Danielle, Stan, and I we won't bother you for three days. We won't even open the curtains when we come over." Melanie says.
"Fine." I huff.
"Yes!" Melanie cheers. She snatches Louis' sweatshirt handing it to me.
I pull it on as I climb out of bed, sliding my feet into my UGGS. I redo the bun in my hair so I don't look like a total mess. Melanie smiles at me, links her arm in mine, and pulls me out the door towards the mess hall. Everyone glances over at me when we push open the door. There are a few 'hey's as we go over to a waiting table.
"Juliet." A girl I have never seen before skips in front of us. "I'm sorry Louis left. Do you want to sit with me and my friends?" Keeping my gaze down, I shake my head and let Melanie tug me a few feet to a table.
"Look who got up!" Melanie exclaims.
"Hey." Stan flashes me a smile.
"Hi Jules." Danielle waves. I drop down into the booth.
"Hi." I yawn.
"Were you up all night?" Melanie asks as she hops into the spot next to me.
"I couldn't sleep." I answer. "So yes."
"That sucks." Danielle scrunches her nose up. I nod slightly. I didn't sleep because when I do I have nightmares about me and Louis and Melanie and Danielle and Stan and my dad. I had to keep myself awake so I wouldn't have another.
"How are you feeling?" Stan asks.
"Sick. Hungry. Tired. Sad. Gutted. Happy. Stressed. Depressed. Pregnant." I list off.
"I'll go get you something. What do you want?" Mel asks.
"Just some toast." I shrug.
"I hope you know I'm going to make you eat more than that." Melanie responds while she gets up.
"I do." I sigh.
"I still think you should have told Louis you're having his kid." Danielle says.
"I want him to live his life. I didn't want him to go but I wasn't going to be the one keeping him from going. Even if I did tell him before he left I would force him to leave." I try to awkwardly explain. "He can't know. It was either tell him then or tell him never. I chose never. He's going to be something big whether he is a solo performer or in a group."
"Juliet, you have to tell him you're having his baby. If you don't and he can't come back for three years you will never be the same." Stan shakes his head.
"Yeah right." I roll my eyes. "He'll be back sooner than three years and we'll pick up where we left off like he promised. Trust me."
"What will happen when camp is over?" Danielle asks. "Do you think we're still gonna be friends?"
