Chico's POV:
I repeativley tried to jump on the matress on the floor. "I can do it!" I kept telling myself. After what seemed like years of trying, i still was not atop the matress. I was having an asthma attack. I couldn't breath. Sounding like a dying pig, my owner, laila, picked me up and comforted me. "I can't stay in your arms forever, Laila." but as soon as i said that i remembered that humans can not hear what doggos are saying.
I have to go pee. I can't stay inside. I squirmed out of her arms and ran to the kitchen to pee in the floor. As Laila cleaned up my pee, she let me outside. I stood outside the glass door watching her clean it up until she was finished. After she was done, I looked outside of the fence I was in. I saw a squirrel!! Somehow i managed to climb over the fence thanks to a racoon that was eating all of my dog food. I wasnt very fond of him then, and I would've attac him buh I was too focused on the squirrel.
I guess the racoon was thanking me for letting it eat my food. But as soon as I got out of that fence, i chased the squirrel all the way down the street. Later, I was having another asthma attack. I rolled off the side of the street into the ditch. The squirrel ran up the tree. Eventually, after i got my breathing in check, I plopped out of the ditch. Just as I expected. In the middle of the dessert. I saw the same squirrel in a tree. It threw an acorn down and hit my eyes. Im blind.
Im running, trying to get the acorns out of my eyes. I run into a cactus and yelp because it hurts, duhhh. Just as I am stuck onto the cactus, I see two shadows walking towards me.
