I was brought up by Democratic Socialist parents. Their own political views were very much my own for the first 14 years of my life, but during this time I was driven purely by current issues. The attitude, must I say, of a politician. It was after this stage that I came to the conclusion of the necessity of ideology. Since then, I have looked towards the idea of a communistic society as something that would ultimately be beneficial to the human race. It was this thought that eventually built up to the outlining of a path to get there, Mutualism-Beneficialism, one year ago when I was merely 16 years of age. Ideology is a driver for motivation, for ambition, and to get as close to an ideological end-goal as possible would truly be better for humanity in my own opinion, and hence I believe working towards an ideological goal is absolutely essential in a society far from perfect. Hence, I wish to share my own thoughts through my book.
An ideologist, as I would consider myself, is not a politician: we work theoretically over practically, we think outside what others deem possible and provide frameworks for paths into such a society, and we leave the rest to our politicians, who interpret our theories and ideas to apply to current issues. This book is designed to provide such an ideological framework, and I hope that by the end of it you will not only accept it but be ready to bring it into the political sphere or purely raise awareness.
In such, we therefore have to admit that it is not only the ideologists that are necessary to expand our movement. Politicians, in implementing it, have as always a massive role, and anyone else acting as a spokesperson or follower will be absolutely vital for government cooperation, for bringing about change, and for spreading the word. Spreading the word, in Mutualism-Beneficialism's current state, is most certainly the main goal of the book and I aim to do so in writing it.
But why? Why must we bring ideology back into the fold? Because all over the world, we have lost direction, and half of us human brethren are in poverty. Because we are slowly destroying and exhausting the planet and the world with excessive consumerism and corporate-funded wars. If there ever was a time of desperation, it is now.
Mutualism-Beneficialism is currently a small movement, but we will hopefully soon reach great heights, should the word be spread, and ideologists, politicians and followers play their part.
If we acknowledge the benefit, we must first acknowledge the process.
